Definitely a testament to the artist's passion for the style at least.

I'm going to wait to fully judge this season until we get the first real fight scene. I'll admit that I actually did like that 30 seconds of Animation when he used fist of flowing water against King the ripper. That looked decent.

Been a while so you might not remember but that's the same group the robot that went after King and fought Genos S2 ep 1. Could be connected to cyborg Genos is looking for too but not sure. Also as far as I know Garou's hair and eye color change is to show monsterization but part of it could also be blood mixing with his hair during his fight with Genos.

Spoiler free of course... - First of all, I really suggest that you guys bring MVP of the episode to OPM. The rest of the series from this point on will follow S2's direction of introducing and following new and amazing characters. Both the heroes and monsters side will have moments worthy of being called MVP of the episode. - Saitama is Class B Rank 101 at this point - When heroes reach the top of their class, they have the option to move up to the next or stay at the top of their current one. Mumen is at the top of C, Fubuki is at the top of B, and Amai Mask is at the top of A. They all have their own reasons for not moving to the next class. In Amai's case, at the end of S1, he told Metal Bat that he only stays A Class Rank 1 to prevent weak heroes from moving up to S Class. He essentially acts as a gatekeeper for the S Class. - You guys were correct! Gyoro Gyoro is voiced by Takehito Koyasu. He's the VA for Roswaal, Zeke, Toji, Kraft (the male elf from Friren) and more! OPM has an all star VA cast. Tatsumaki's VA also does Maomao and Tsuyu... Amai is voiced by Light... the list goes on. - I think the technical term for what Ange was trying to get across was the editing. It's my main issue with the season so far as well. It seems really choppy at times. I do believe that resources were saved for the fights. Because there are A LOT of them. Anyway, great reaction as always! Can't wait to for the next one. I really hope they can do this justice, because the Monster Association arc is seriously the best one in the series and S3 is only the beginning!

2025-10-20 15:58:24 +0000 UTCIt's the bandai filmworks fault for selecting jc staff and not providing enough resources and time to them. I dont blame the animators as they can only work on what they have. Also rumor has it the committee announce the return of one punch man eventhough no studio has been selected or agreed to take the project and said they only have 6 months to produce this show so the scheduling for the anime is bad. Same what the committee did for season 2 jc staff requested extension but the committee did not agree but i would says season 2 is not that bad but it could be better if more time is given. From what i know season 1 takes 1 year or 2 to be completed. They might cut off the budget fot this season. If only bandai give enough time resources to hire talented freelancer animators things could have been different for season 3.

The show cuts a lot of corners and has an incredible amount of still frames especially when you consider how this series is one of the most popular of all time. The transitions like when Saitama put on his suit and when Garou suddenly left the monster hideout somehow stick out as very weirdly done. One good thing is that the still frames have pretty great art. Also, JC Staff (the studio animating this) has a very good animator in house (Kenichirou Aoki) who will definitely provide at least some good fighting moments we can look forward to in this season. As a manga reader I’m still excited nonetheless for what’s to come!
