What a show that is still SOMEHOW underrated my parts of the anime fan base. Whatever, this show had the most heart out of any anime I’ve seen (haven’t seen One Piece yet).

But the one thing I wish it had on your version was the big "THE FINAL BOSS" text across the screen when Bakugo blasted AFO into the ground. But his announcing himself as the final boss was still so badass!

2025-10-18 23:45:21 +0000 UTCA lot of those awesome moments of incredible animation for Bakugo are courtesy of the amazing Vincent Chansard, who got really famous from his work on One Piece (so it's not really Bones going mental, they just brought a superhero-level team of 'freelances' together). Vincent has also been done dirty by Bones in the past (a scene he did for MHA Season 5 got absolutely butchered), so I take this as him taking revenge by making the best pieces of animation MHA has ever had!

Now, Deku can reach his hand out & Bakugo will take it because they trust each other now!

Even aside from the animation (and this is absolutely the best the show has ever looked), there's just so much peak writing packed into it. It'd take way too long to cover it all, but I did want to bring back something you guys pointed out last episode. With All for One de-aging the way he is, it's like we're getting new iterations of the same character, but it's even more than that. Even going all the way back to last season with the Endeavor fight, it's like AFO is transforming into the perfect foil for whoever he's fighting against. Against Endeavor, he's an older man willing to manipulate and use the younger generation to fulfill his own dreams. Against All Might, he's a symbol of impending death. And now he's become a bratty kid who thinks everyone else is insignificant, just in time for him to fight Bakugo. And I do think you guys mentioned the similar appearances of Bakugo and Kudo at some point last season. But the visual similarity is really just a cue for AFO (and for us). The real similarity is that they're people who, thanks to their willingness to form connections with others (even their supposed 'enemies') came completely out of nowhere and were able to hurt him in a way he didn't think was possible. I don't know. There's just so much full circle writing and payoff. This show is genuinely incredible.

There’s just something about the character arc he goes through that resonates heavily with me. I think it’s that the fully realized and ideal version of himself is achieved through him embracing, internalizing and using the pain he’s feeling. Bakugo deserves his You Say Run moment.

2025-10-18 16:00:39 +0000 UTCAHHHHHH words are not enough to describe how amazing this ep is!! it truly surpassed all my expectations!! the beginning scene with deku and bakugo was so good! no words needed they just knew instantly what to do~ it's also the full circle moment of years in the making starting with them as kids in the river where deku reached his hand out to bakugo and because of all his baggage was unable to accept it. Now with all bakugo has been through and the growth he has come into, no hesitation whatsoever as soon as deku has his arm out he accepts it to save their hero~ their story is just so so good i love me some great parallels and yea im like pretty sure when Kudo was first shown either both or one of you guys said he looked like bakugo which again surprise surprise we have another parallel of kudo and the first user reaching out to each other like deku and bakugo... the author really loves his symbolism and like same tbh its really well done i like to think of edgeshot as a worm now.. yea that seems accurate he's so tiny i hope no one steps on him lol AND BAKUGO'S SOFT AND SINCERE SMILE FOR ALL MIGHT??!?!! i cant deal with him he's amazing i love him a lot and him just laughing his crazy ass off at AFO is perfect lol sorry for the long af essay xd i have my full on trust with the season that we'll just keep witnessing peak on peak every week! cant wait for the next ep!!
