The Great Naruto Bridge is a real bridge in Japan :-) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%8Cnaruto_Bridge https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Naruto_whirlpools

Ep 19 There we go our first time seeing Naruto use his real known jutsu, yu all who seen this know what I’m talking nobout. Rude ninja? Nah I bet theres nothing but mafia goons and urge samurai in that mob, none of them probably know any hand signs. We have moved passed were I was reading the manga… yu guys are too fast for me. The great Naruto bridge?… I dint like it, maybe we name after the first guy who died inspiring us to build a bridge just saying. Sasuke told Sakura no in a decent not mean manner mascara to growth. In actuality after the battle of the Bridge squad Kakashi probably stayed another mouth or so to complete the mission, which was to stay till the bridge was finished. And spent a few more days heading back. In the manga Kakashi literally states he had no chakra left to use Shadow clones, but just enough to use regular non moving clones and hopes the mob buys the bluff. GASP! Such violence Segment didn’t take long, did it? Anime. Zabuza slashes Gato and kicks him to sea. Manga. Zabuza behead him. Shutting up now.

Ep 18 You know it’s always hard to remember since they animate it for us that Chakra being life energy is always ment to be invisible to the human eye. You know unless it’s literally poring out of yu. Wait, we have crossbows in this world? What is the tech ratio in Narutoland? Inari. “I have to go to the bridge, also yu call me Daryll Dixon from now on.” (Puts an arrow in the crossbow as his hair spontaneously grows longer) So yah Kakashi was not playing with Zabuza during this whole fight, but he wasn’t using 100% effort, I’d say about 60-65, he’s still not fully recovered from his last fight so he’s trying not too put too much strain on his body if he can help it. His eye is drain, and he using the lighting blade was him pushing it. But after Haku, he he decided to go 100% at least wuth combat, both with how Zabuza responded to Haku’s death and getting the news’s of Sasuke. He’s ending this now. “A boy just died.” To be fair that boy was an assassin who has killed many innocent women and children and men for money to give to his father figure. So…. The Shonobi rules are an infesting world thing, but we really don’t get much Detail on them sadly. So now is the time to kinda talk about how the anime is a lot tamer in violence compared to the manga. First show of this kakashi’s whole hand went through Haku’s chest and out the other side in the manga…. Maybe I’ll make this a segment in the future… I already got a name for it so it’s probably already a done deal. Shutting up now.

Naruto's VA definitely delivered peak. The wave country arc was what got me invested into the series emotionally, but the chuunin exam arc coming up next is also great. I remember middle school me was floored by Kishimoto's writing and thought it was amazing how anyone could come up with these ideas (lol now older and have seen Hunter x Hunter, I know where his inspirations are from, but it's still one of my favorite shounen arcs).

Talk no jutsu is the strongest jutsu. It not only manages to beat every opponent, it also beats us, the watchers, by bombarding us with emotions

TriplT

Carlie and Ange Naruto got one more special jutsu that is "Talk-No-Jutsu". This jutsu is pretty much underrated.

Carlie going into ultra-focus mode to pronounce sharingan was absolutely hilarious and caught me off guard 😂

Synnel

Not Carlie referring to freaking Christianity as "lore" lol. I wasn't aware Carlie was so devout. It's interesting to hear such an analysis of what I always thought of as an "If I'm dying, then so are you" type of line.

The Great Santini

this was the arc that hooked me to this series, I still remember the first time I watched as a kid (2003) and I gotta say this still hits even after these years

That's an interesting thing Carlie mentioned. I usually look at such lines like "see you in hell" etc as more of a cool, badass moment by the hero/anti-hero but I can see how it would sound different or off to someone who's more versed in such lore. Hadn't really thought about it until Carlie mentioned it. I love that it gives me a new insight to how you guys react to these shows. I'm reminded of your reactions to Demon Slayer since that show also has a very Heaven-Hell lore heavy concept about the afterlife once a demon dies (or the Japanese equivalent at least). Although I can't recall many characters specifically saying similar "badass" lines while fighting to make a direct comparison to the scene in Naruto here lol.
