I do think Cliff is right to bluster as a child he is a vary skilled mage, in fact if it wasn’t for Rudy’s adult mentality, this is probably how he would act with his talents as well… like a moral gifted kid. All cliff really needs is to learn self control, though Eris also may have not told him they need the ears as well so it could be her fault too. It’s mature of Cliff to realize that Eris is truly in love with Rudeus and accepts that even if he doesn’t know Rudy is not an adult. Sadly Cliff really was just a blip in Eris’s life, she instantly leaves him out of her story to Ruijard most likely forgetting his name just as soon as she dismissed him from the Goblin burning. Everything Mr Angelo speculated in this episode. I speculated to you on my first watch. Age counter. Eris 13-14 (she’s 15 back at Bwena Village so if she’s not 14 now she’s weeks away) Cliff 11? (I assume he’s Rudy’s age since compared to Eris he’s the same night when Rudy is next to her. He could just be a short 12 year old, or a 10 year compared to Rudy, but I think there ment to be the same age) the discord will live for me then I’m completely wrong.
