These close polls on our Patreon are starting to get out of hand and we are beginning to speculate whether or not it is a coordinated effort from you guys to make it so damn close!!
Mushoku Tensei and Mashle: Magic and Muscles both ended on 33% each. The final numbers were:
Mushoku: 955 Votes
Mashle: 951 Votes
Mushoku Tensei will most likely start releasing on Patreon 2 times a week starting next week!

The reason is the most controversial episode happens in the first half of season 1. I don't want to give details cause it's gonna spoil stuff. If you can get past that certain episode then you it's all smooth sailing from there.

I might try to watch Mushoku someday, but considering what I've heard, it's fairly low on my long list of shows to watch. However, this is the first time I've heard someone say you gotta push yourself through an entire season before it turns into the "great anime" people rave about.

The show is about a socially/mentally stunned >30yo who gets another chance at life. The MC is immature, and it’s a slow burn for his development thru his experiences. The author writes a lot of bold/controversial topics that is rarely conveyed in media. If you can’t mentally can’t get past a >30yo who gets reborn again and has romantic interests with females around his new physical age. There’s plenty of other shows for you.

The start of the anime can be hard to get through for some people, and may make you uncomfortable. If not, then great! But if it does, that's completely fine, I just hope you won't discontinue the series immediately and take into consideration that it really does get better the more you watch, focusing more on the world building and lore and character development :)
