Final episodes were so good! For the mvp, I kind of agree that I think Rin did the most, but the last I think 3 or 4 episodes both Sae and Rin acknowledged that Isagi is actually the key behind blue lock, and then Sae at the end believed that Isagi was basically the MVP and the future of japan so I’d probably give it to Isagi as well. Even though Rin was epic and did so much. So hyped that Kunigami is back!!!! As always loved your reaction, you never miss! And you’re probably the only other reaction channel that was as hyped as I was seeing Ego celebrate too lol!

Blue lock is all about egoism, being egoist, wanting to win, etc. When Sae told Isagi "i am leveling up" or raising the bar or whatever he said and turned up the tempo to show that he is playing seriously i figured he does not deserve to be MVP. if he was playing seriously from get go he could easily score 5 goals by himself before blue lock XI "leveled" up to the point where they could compete with sae's serious mode (even though it was only rin who could completely shut him down, sae could easily get 3 goals before everyone got into the flow). MVP goes to does who contributed the most and achieved victory. Sae in my opinion deserve the trophy of shame for not taking game seriously and not having ego to score himself. he got his ass whooped overseas and his ego was crushed so hard he cant even imagine himself scoring so he would rather lose and blame strikers than try to be striker himself. no room in blue lock for mvp of that kind :D

Giving Isagi MVP just doesnt sit right with me, the amount of work and effort Isagi put in this last play is astronomicaly lower then Rin

2024-12-29 21:15:49 +0000 UTCEgo's celebration hyped me more than the goal tbh! The final episode was very good!(except for the tongue... this was really bad...). Overall, the second half of the season was better than the first half, but I still prefer season 1 because there was more focus on the game. I just wish if they reduced the number of episodes by cutting out all the creepy and cringy dialogues in each play... we could hardly get 3 or 4 chances every episode, the rest was just filling the gaps with silly lines and ooooooooover analysing each play. Also, I hope they don't introduce any more weird characters with weird speaking patterns... like the monk dude. I hope they take their time for S3 to produce something better and closer to real football.

And I absolutely loved seeing your guys reaction, as someone who hasn’t played soccer much I loved seeing it from Ange’s perspective and analysis and explanation! And I know it may not be anything soon, but as someone who played basketball I would absolutely LOVE if you guys watched Kuroko Basketball, but you guys do you! Keep doing you guys❤️

Barou scores by devouring rin and isagi scores by trusting rin. rin also shut down sae, took a kick in the head to stop shidou from scoring, and even stopped aiku from scoring. without rin it could have be 5:1 for u20 just from what we've seen. maybe isagi is mvp of the episode for winning goal but Rin is definitely mvp of the match

Rin was beast, i love that he didnt fall into power of friendship. The scene of Aiku who is known as a Defense Badass say he cannot beat Rin made Rin looks so op. Also shout out to Aiku Fake Out Goal. Shits was crazy. Sad Bachira didnt make too much of a impact, but atleast he got the monster trance stuff. For Isagi. GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!! Also really love audience involvement this season, which is very expanded upon compared to manga. W decision from animators

The only gripes I have with blue lock, is the dialogue (pretty cringe), and the constant standing around talking, which obviously is nothing like real football.

That moment was him realizing his dream isn't truly over as well. Also, the soundtrack in these last two were insane. So many bangers.

2024-12-29 17:12:33 +0000 UTCAmazing episode, thanks for getting this out early❤️ Here’s some interesting information. The animation style when Rin and Sae have the 1v1 is known as kagenoshi. In a series like Blue Lock the drawings are always very good (similar to Demon Slayer) but they used this style of animation in which the characters don’t have shadows and the characters go “off model” which allows for more fluidity and freedom as the characters move since the focus isn’t on the strong drawings. Would LOVE to see more of this in future seasons
