2024-12-27 23:32:44 +0000 UTCcop did not wake up from comma and started working like traffic officer in 24h there is clearly time skip period. the cop did not even know what is happening during the time players were outside due to /ff votes. he either approached him in time period between game end and gi-hun going to airport (somewhere between winning the prize money and dying his hair red) or in time period between gi-hun taking the chip out and present time

2024-12-27 22:41:57 +0000 UTCthe two guys who were forced to play rock paper scissors were not cops they were loan sharks. the guy who ends up dead is literally same person who chase gi-hun down to public toilet and steals his horse race winnings in episode 1. Also, he refuses to play in last round and got himself DQ on purpose (he had paper and scissor and other guy had 2 rocks so it was 1-1 in first round and they both had to remove one hand but no matter what hand other guy removes he must keep rock so the leader only needs to remove scissor and keep paper and he wins. it was actually 100% certain victory for leader but he decide to DQ) and he did not because other guy recently got married (he even officiated the marriage) so he chose to die to save the other guy. Only reason they are helping gi-hun in the first place is because gi-hun approached them and paid off his whole debt at once and told them about the squid games and loan shark put two and two together and realized that reason all those people that owe him money are disappearing because they are all playing these games so squid game is bad for his loan shark business by proxy
