If you do end up watching & reacting to G8 I'd suggest doing the whole arc in 2 part videos. I like the Davy Back Fight filler arc better.

I don't think that's for no reason. And like I mentioned on previous comments it's full of memes and funny moments that is just peak early One Piece.

It is a crime that people call for skipping it and even the canon Long Ring Long land (even though I agree that one drags a tiny bit but it is still fun to watch) I mean, I am here to watch you react to great One Piece episodes

Long ring long land is also pretty awful even though it's canon there are a handful of episodes at the end that are important but most can and I would watch off camera

2024-12-27 08:38:27 +0000 UTCI would personally advise you not to watch the upcoming G8 filler arc. Even though it is very funny, it obviously doesn't add anything to the story and has 12 episodes. The Skypiea arc was a bit slow and the next Cannon arc also feels like filler at first. What I mean by that is that the story and the watch experience are only dragging on even more and in my opinion that doesn't offer much added value. The Canon arc after that is in great demand and will bring a lot of momentum. You can catch up on the G8 filler arc at any time privately or as a reaction and basically watch it any time. That's my personal opinion, do what you feel like! ;) Happy New Year to everyone!

I am cool with it in general though. One Piece is the anime that I watch to chill. Although I am kind of hoping they would watch more per week, since it is actually quite a long series, I also get that watching more may affect the quality because I really like the reflection at the end of each video.

People do ship lots of them generally though, including Luffy and Nami (not me), Sanji and Zoro from the current straw hats. And who knows, they may indeed meet love interests later. Also just a reminder that the Ussopp and Kya thing was from the live action, in the anime they don't have an explicit romance but you could interpret that as kind of a romance based on the live action since Oda's bene involved with both

2024-12-25 18:50:18 +0000 UTCusopp and kaya, zoro and kuina, bellemere and genzo, sanji and any woman really lmao :D there is also big luffy and vivi fandom, i think most of them ship them because of that one little scene in vivi's flashback where she proclaims to her dad (or was it to igaram?) that she will one day become pirate queen and as we know luffy wants to be pirate king so lot of people ship them. i personally ship zoro and tashigi (speaking only up to skypea) and i really like sanji and nami but oda did confirm he does not want to write any romance among the strawhats so my Sanmi ship sunk fast :D
