This episode is my absolute favorite when it comes to the more laid-back, less plot-driven ones. Aang can be so charming and spirited and fun, when he doesn't have to save the world. Sokka is hysterical, Kataang is beyond cute and 'Cave Jivin' by the Flameo's is straight up fire (pun intended).

2024-06-28 02:40:24 +0000 UTCIn seriousness though, I agree with an above sentiment. I ultimately think Iroh has done what he can, and he probably realizes he can't do anymore for Zuko. For someone like Zuko, who's worldview has been shaped by an incredibly toxic environment, Iroh can only do so much. Zuko's trauma and pain are a part of him and are what guide him down the wrong path. Sometimes with people like this, they ultimately will not change until they make the decision to help themselves. Sometimes that means a person needs to hit rock bottom before they can fully understand the consequences of their actions and decisions.

I never saw it as a kid and I feel like anyone who does just REALLY likes the enemies-to-lovers trope a little too much. There's literally no hinting about it until the single scar touch in book 2 lmao.

He's been hands on and leading Zuko the last two books, time for him to be hands off for the finish line.

It also makes sense to the plot that he doesnโt speak to zuko but itโs also another sad fact๐
