It's a popular comedy/action isekai with an awesome art style, action sequences, special effects, great character development, and top tier sound effects. After watching you guys reacting for a while now, I believe you guys will loooove it. Pls take this anime into consideration. Love you guys. Keep doing what you do. <3

They leave out of the anime that Subaru agreed with Rem's proposal after that long talk episode, that if Emilia is okay with it, Subaru would be with both of them. (In this world having more than one wife is not abnormal.) Subaru's heart to heart moments (like when Geuse killed Rem) expose his true feelings for Rem. While externally he's always shouting his feelings for Emilia. So Subaru has to have a talk with Emilia about the triangular relationship.

2024-01-23 03:51:18 +0000 UTC100% with you on that. I watched Re: Zero in like June and couldn’t help myself and went and listened to the WN translation on YouTube to catchup to the latest chapter. It’s the only show that pushed me so far to wanna be up to date on everything happening in the story.

This was just more so for the #1 and #2 comment and understanding why he says this cuz it’s one of the key parts to knowing in the anime how he feels about her. I’m also aware of the director who also isn’t doing season 3 I’ve heard. They’ve cut a lot of content so it’s not shocking but I think it’s obvious enough in the anime how he feels. A lot of people are more so thrown off by how he feels and push off these scenes as not being that way because only 2 episodes ago he was telling rem he loved Emilia and with no inner monologue assume it’s cuz he only has eyes for Emilia forever. But as we know things change quick and he realized he had much deeper feelings for Rem.

Apparently it actually just means the order in which he fell in love with someone. Idk if what I’ve read about that is copium but I do know for sure that Subaru has fallen for Rem by this point and that #1 and #2 comment is referring to Rem and Emilia. Also this is Novel stuff not spoilers it just adds context. Before they fought the whale Rem told Subaru under the big tree she would be fine being his second wife…. Subaru agreed to the proposal under the condition that Emilia would be ok with them having that kind of relationship. So he does think he can have 2 girlfriends Ange but Rem is the one who pushed for it actually LOL.
