The OST is absolutely incredible, and the lines in it are amazing. The piano animations are amazing. I've watched this show 6 or 7 times already. This show brings more emotion out of me than any other show I've ever watched.

Edit: Just imagine if one of them shipped Taichi and the other shipped Arata...might go rewatch the entire thing while I picture it lol

She's a much needed breath of air for both Kosei and the viewers after being stuck underwater for the first ten episodes. Also I realized in the post discussion that I wish in some alternate reality you two would react to Hikaru no Go. It's too nerdy and niche and long to ever happen I know, but that's the original sports anime rivalry (using "sport" loosely) and it's fun to imagine.

Almost like an unachievable goal. Emi wants the original Kousei. The little kid who played his heart out and made her see the sunflowers.

2024-01-21 17:54:19 +0000 UTCNot gonna lie, I was so so invested into this anime first time watching it, and I didn't realise as fast as you guys did that Kaori was ill. The quote at the end of ep. 11 hit me so hard that I was honestly so scared to watch this anime further. Kaori and her relationship with Kousei was one of my favourite stories ever and the thought of it ending made me sick to the stomach. I finished watching it only 2 years later when I matured more and could handle the rest, how ironic right :)

Literally says or does anything somewhat sus and immediately they start jumping right to “well she’s going to die”. The reactions to her since she fainted after their first performance together has been hilarious. The laughs are needed.
