2024-01-16 16:55:14 +0000 UTC@Thilde If you'd like to watch a good soccer Anime, I highly recommend Aoashi. It's a cool glimpse into what the Japanese youth soccer system is actually like. It's made by the same Studio as Haikyuu and it was recommended by Andres Iniesta!

The characters' struggles, pain, joy, sadness...their overall passion for baseball, you'll see them. Heck you'd likely feel them as well just like I did when I watched this show. The bgms are also great, I'd like to see/hear Ange play them 😁 Kuroko's Basketball and Blue Lock are awesome shows in their own way but I'd still choose Ace of Diamond as my recommendation when you're done with Haikyuu 😁

2024-01-14 23:43:06 +0000 UTCOnce you are done with Haikyuu and may be considering another sports anime, I recommend Kuroko's basketball. It's slightly less realistic in terms of some characters having "supernatural" powers and isn't as lighthearted as Haikyuu I would say, yet very enjoyable (there are villains in this show unlike Haikyuu). I don't want to say too much but it is one of those that just gets better with every season both in animation and character building. I think it is the show which is most similar to Haikyuu in the sports category, loveable characters, teams that you want to root for, exciting matchups, etc. Just throwing it out there, hope you consider.
