Also not true, Rem held his hand cut his hair taught him how to read and write, etc lol both had their goods. It could be said Rems goods only make it worse as she follows it up by torturing him with her mace. Ps we never address why the girls are so quick to murder in this anime. Including Emilia. Every other world struggles with taking a life, here not so much

Kill Subaru Brutally, Torture Subaru, Love Subaru more than life itself, Die countless times for Subaru and Support Subaru to her best ability. Subaru is an idiot. I hate that he's so realistic. However it should be known that there is a tab bit left out from the novels at this point. Rem and Subaru agreed that if Emilia is okay with it, they can all be family. Because in this world it isn't abnormal. This will proc a very important conversation near the end of season one.
