Season 3 is amazing and it gets me really hyped, but season 4 is my favourite, it just hits me emotionally on a whole other level. Haikyuu may not have been her favorite show during the tier list video, but it may be safe to say that it is now. Ya'll have the right amount of energy during the player introductions lmao. That "BOO!!!" from Ange... I felt that 😂 Not sure if someone mentioned this already, and I don't want to bring your guys' tension down, but please take in coach Ukai's voice as much as possible this season, especially since you guys enjoy his character a lot. His VA, Kazunari Tanaka, passed away during the production of this season, and so his voice actor will change in a later episode. The new VA does a great job, but it will be different. Just thought I'd let you two know so you don't get caught off guard.

I didn't go deep into it, but I know it's a tale about two warriors named "Ushiwaka" and "Benkei", which the name "Ushijima Wakatoshi" seems to be heavily based upon. Hinata probably thought the guy looked like the depiction of "Benkei", which was close to his mind since they are facing Ushiwaka, and then got surprised/disappointed when he found out the guy's name is Leon.

Ushijima's first spike ending episode 1 was the first time during this show that Nishinoya was unable to receive a serve/spike head-on. Every other time he wasn't able to receive it was because he didn't have time to properly position himself on the ball's path. 2. Tendo (red-haired guy from Shiratorizawa) saw Hinata's minus-tempo quick a single time, and was able to block him on the second try, the only one that was able to do that before was Lev, and that was before Hinata came up with the reformed quick were he can properly maneuver the ball on the air.

If you want to watch a real life volleyball game where you can see the actual techniques used by our boys come into play, watch the Japan Volleyball Team matches. ❤️ Also, the mangaka used to be a volleyball player and he created Haikyuu to encourage young people to consider joining it as their club or increase the interest for the game. When Haikyuu started, Japan’s volleyball interest spike up to 200%. ❤️

Now Hinata is faster than Ushijima so a three person block isn't likely, but he's also much weaker so it wasn't quite as needed. Seijoh used one blocker to prevent Hinata from using the cross and it made his spike a lot easier to receive. The show routinely has Karasuno pick up strategies their opponents used.

That player introduction destroyed me the first time I saw it. It was like I was watching my children on the stage. I'm so proud of all of them Lastly, the cover was a banger. I'm not trying to trauma dump or seek sympathy, but I have not been doing well these past few weeks and suffering hard from some seasonal depression and this is one of the few things that I look forward to, watching Haikyuu with you two. I'm going to be sad when it's over but hopefully we can get more of that energy during Blue Lock. Ange I can tell you're really going to love it.

From the last episode of this season until the end, Hisao Egawa took over. A lot of people responded negatively because the voices are so different, but he's the one Tanaka-san asked to take over.

Benkei is the name of another warrior, who was one of Ushiwaka's right-hand men. Ushiwaka and Leon are the two wing-spikers/aces of the Shiratorizawa team, so they are like a pair of warriors.
