Check the actual definition of what it is against your assumptions. And believe that the mangaka is also aware of it. Don’t get me wrong. Hisoka is a pervert. He has sexual wires crossed. But I think a lot of people leap directly from SCHWING to 100. Hisoka wants to wait. He wants Gon to grow up. He is getting blue balls in the meantime, but he wants maximum satisfaction - Gon as he will be, not as he is now. If Gon hadn’t continued to demonstrate so much potential in that fight, Hisoka would have killed him then and there.

Some are shocked into silence, some scream with laughter, some do a mixture of both (like you). But you need to listen to what Hisoka’s actually saying, and what he’s said previously too. He’s massively turned on by Gon, but it’s not because he’s a child. He’s constantly referring to wanting Gon to grow up, to him not being ready yet.
