2023-11-30 02:05:14 +0000 UTCto answer Ange's question for next year. who is gonna set to mad dog now that oikawa is gone. it will be same person who was setter in practice match in season 1 with oikawa being late for the match. and that person is Yahaba. same person who lashed out and physically attacked mad dog during last match (slammed him in the wall) so that scene was a beautiful set up for their partnership in next year (especially since they will be the third years next year so they will trully be compared to oikawa and iwaizumi)

Others have probably already said this, but one of my favorite things about the episode is that every player on the court touches the ball at least once in the final rally. It really emphasizes the theme that the team of 6 who are better together are the stronger team.

He’s my favorite ace in the series he’s just so dependable, his aura is just captivating. S4 is great too, but it had too many inconsistencies in animation which became distracting at times.

2023-11-28 20:47:46 +0000 UTCanother reason why takeda deserves mvp and is the unsung hero of karasuno: in the first season the boys don’t even have a coach at the beginning. they’ve fallen under the radar and because og ukai is gone, many schools won’t even practice with them. so takeda acknowledges he’s not qualified to help the boys to their goal and goes and BEGS ukai jr. to watch them play just once. cus he knew those boys were special. AND he uses ukai’s name to get nekoma to play them and uses nekoma to get ukai to coach!! mans was playing chesss for those boys bc he knew how determined they were 🥹

2023-11-28 19:49:36 +0000 UTCSince season 3 is coming, here's a little clarification/hype up to Ushiwaka: - When it's said he's top 3 they are referring to the national level, not this tournament, which is a preliminary to the nationals at district level. - When it comes to this district, he is the absolute number 1. - Since he's top 3 at nationals level, it's fair to assume that Ushiwaka not only is on Japan's under-19 official team, he's probably one of their best players. - It was said during this episode that Shiratorizawa is one of the favorite teams to win at nationals. Since Ange likes sports so much, I bet he'll understand how meaningless a preliminary match is for a team that's a favorite to win the whole thing. When these matches play in real life, their fans are barely watching, it can't be stated enough how little of a chance Karasuno has on everyone's eyes. Yet... if Karasuno loses, the seniors are out. Can't wait for next week lol.

I agree with everything you said about this show and how beautifully it shows us the growth of not just the main characters but pretty much every character we've come across.
