4 can be pronouced as shi which means death and is a unlucky number in japanese.

Right? I was impressed when as early as episode 28, she remembered Gon subconciously using Zetsu in the Hunter Exam. I've watched so many reactions to HxH and Carlie I think is the first one to notice that before the show confirmed it on episode 30 or 31.

All the little things she noticed reminded me of Ange with jjk honestly 😂

Its dead wrong :).
Its not a matter of preference. Words were its shi is shi, words were is yon (or yo) stays. You do not chose the counterparts. Its not switchable. It depends on the origins of the words.
You can see real impact in hotels for example where you do not have, sometimes, a fourth floor. To avoid the "shi" floor.
However, no one can (nor wants) to change the pronounciation of words when its shi, it bothers no one at all.

4 (shi) and 7 (shichi) are both considered unlucky which is why they are using kunyomi counterparts, that part is absolutely right, i admit i dont have full understanding of the premise between two different ways (onyomi and kunyomi) but i sure know which is which and i am positive that people who use onyomi prefer to use kunyomi counterparts to avoid using "shi" and "shichi". nothing i said about that part is wrong, maybe you know more about it than me but you cant say i am absolutely wrong -.-

I'd recommend that at this point, you stop trying to guess what power the various characters are using becuase you don't know enough yet. Patience, grasshoppers!
I think healing is Ten, not Zetsu, but like you say, Gon probably just has some really good genes.

I'm sorry, but everyone is getting this wrong. It happens every time. Bungee Gum has the properties of both gum AND rubber.
But I think this fight shows why some people really love Hisoka. In addition to everything we've already seen him to be, he's REALLY intelligent. That makes him an interesting antagonist / chaotic neutral / whatever you want to call him (write your own essay here).
I reckon he was definitely interested in spending some 'special time' with that girl. He's attracted to people with power and/or potential, and you saw him getting turned on as she used her Nen on him.

not absolutely wrong tho. while the language might not have changed the writer could have done this on purpose to relate hisoka to the urban legends

Hisoka is the most interesting character in the series, being both and antagonist and protagonist depending on the moment. Always keeps you on edge because of how smart and whimsical he is.

This is absolutely wrong.
The kanji for 4 (四) like any kanji as multiple pronounciation, due to the origin in chinese language of the japanese. Its called onyomi and kunyomi. it has absolutely nothing related to old reading or anything like that. The kanji for 4 is read as shi (which is indeed related to death) on dozens of words still today and nothing changed. (Examples : 四季 – shiki – the four seasons / 四角い - shikakui, square or rectangular / 四方 -shihou, the four cardinal directions etc...)
While its true that urban legends makes the number four unlucky for his association with death, Japanese language did not change a single bit because of it....

funny you guys noticed that hisoka was both 44 in exam and 4 in phantom troupe. also he only gave 4 points in total before fight with gastro... reason for this may lie in japanese meaning of number 4. or rather old pronounciation of it. four in japanese today is "yon" but back in the days it was "shi" which is same pronounciation as "death". they changed it to "yon" now but the connection between death and number 4 is still there, similar to west tradition with number 13. maybe hisoka is surrounded with 4's to represent that death follows him everywhere he goes or something like that

The bungee gum has both the properties of rubber and gum has started already 😂 but one "property" is missing from that. That property is love, because Bungee Gum is Hisoka's Elastic Love 😂
Also, I almost can't believe it but next week is going to be "that" already, holy crap. Please watch 4 episodes again next week guys, it's not just me being greedy with more episodes, but you'll know why it's important once you start watching haha.
