I think you guys would get a lot out of Mothers Basement video "Whats in an OP?" for this OP, now that I can see you've gotten through the flash back episodes of season two. He really digs into the visuals and the lyric of the song to explain what it likely means and how its relevant. Seriously I cant hype it up enough, please please please watch it! You guys would get so much out of it! The videos full title is "Jujutsu Kaisen 2 Hurts Worse Than You Realize | WIAOP?" by Mothers Basement.

2023-09-14 07:05:06 +0000 UTCShibuya Arc is one of my favorite shonen arcs next to HxH Chimera Ant Arc and this OP clears alot of other OPs For Anime onlys: Clearly sets the tone of this arc compared to the previous, showing all the opposing sides and just random chaos to look forward to. Also the previous OP this season primary color being blue and this one being red cause everything has to be about Gojo For Manga readers: A full buffet of (very clever and hidden) easter eggs and foreshadowing

It's just cryptic enough where even if I tried to dissect certain moments, I wouldn't be completely sure. I especially love the last bit where the hand signs come in. It's beautifully animated, follows the rhythm, and you can recognize some of the techniques; Todo's clapping for example. While I don't love or hate this song from King Gnu, I think it captures the right vibe of the arc. Especially with the red tone they're going with. Thanks for this guys!
