I thought it was kinda cute that you called Shimizu "foxy-senpai" because she is foxy after all haha, and sugawara is the "sugarmomma" of the team (in the haikyuu community anyways) so suga/shuga honestly were both fine imo.

The show does a great job of depicting loss in a competitive match, and when they showed the montage of the teams that lost, it made me appreciate the perspective of the losing side, which I've never really thought about prior to watching Haikyuu. I especially loved the scene transitions between Team Tokonari, Karasuno, and the Karasuno Girls. Everyone was taking their matches seriously, despite the fact that some of the members were slacking during their training/practice. And that came with regret for some of them when they realized that they could have done better during and post match. It made me feel bad for both Ikejiri and Michimiya. As Ange said, the captains feel responsible for their team's loss. It's a life lesson, honestly. Hard work and determination pays off 💦💪 I've heard people call Suga by many names: Shuga (Aussie), Sugar ('Murican), "Mom of Karasuno". I think they're all fitting so you guys can stick with any nickname you like. However! I can't let you guys off for calling Team Date, Dayt Tech. I know it's tempting considering the spelling, but "dah-tay" (or "dah-teh") is how it's pronounced. Kidding, it really isn't a big deal, but since I know you guys are pretty adamant on correct pronunciation. Which, btw, thanks for actually taking an interest in correct pronunciations. I know it can be a little annoying trying to understand how Japanese words and names work, but it's always appreciated! This has been mentioned a few times before, but if you just learn the 5 vowels of Japanese (A, I, U, E, O -> "Ah", "Ee", "Oo", "Eh", "Oh"), same as English but just different order and pronunciation, you guys will be able to pronounce just about any word. For "Date", just put the 'd' and 't' sound before the vowels. Hope this helps 😄 Take a shot for every time I said "pronounce/pronunciation" 😅😂

Getting Haikyuu'd is when you are so emotionally into the game, you forget to breath, your chest gets tight, and every little moment is epic. Epic enough for you to scream, cry, and laugh at the video like you're actually at the game. You will truly love the matches, even though the matches will wear you out emotionally. Just go buy a volleyball so you can have something to hit and squeeze during the game.

Makes me so happy when people who are not into sports gets to know about the comradery of the teammates the ups and downs we go through as high school and athletes in general. Volleyball was my tertiary sports at school and I watched haikyu after passsing out school but after watching haikyu I become more close to my volleyball teammates and the fact we won tournaments together we call ourselves by haikyu character names now like I call my spiker the Asahi or Hinata to my kageyama. I have also made each and everyone of them watch it 😂😂

Plus, it's really helped me to understand the mentality of athletes and has gotten me to develop a healthy respect for them.

And that beautiful moment of Hinata, emotional as he realises that he can stay on the court longer. And as he stares after Ikejiri, he acknowledges that could have been him. The music also throughout this episode is stunning… although we are talking about the great Hayashi who is always amazing but still!
