The greatest unanswered mystery in this anime is how Pinako became short. She looked she had average adult height in her younger days.

2023-09-10 05:51:42 +0000 UTCThe way Ed sacrificed his portal door (alchemy) and came out from Al's door was possible because they performed the human transmutation together. Ed speculated that their souls were fused a little (calls back to the episode he believed the nutrients he consumed were shared with Al's body). If they hadn't, Ed would not be able to come back from that realm.

2023-09-10 05:17:09 +0000 UTCYeah man. I remember when this series was just finishing up in the 2010's and no one predicted what conclusion Ed came to. We were all on the same train track that Ange was on because it was 1: what we all wanted, and 2: the most likely conclusion given everything that would had happened and 3: still would have made for a great ending. No one thought that a main character would give up their powers let alone could do such a thing in a shonen type series.

On a first watch, the first bit seems like an older Ed, but it's actually giving you a summary on Hohenheim's story 40 episodes before you actually learn it Also Ange, that's a great catch on Father's door being empty. Every other door we see is unique, personalized and detailed. His being completely blank is exactly what you said, a representation of his lack of actual learning

You might not have predicted a lot of things but your attention to detail has been so spot on throughout the series. Youβve picked up on things Iβve never seen ppl point out without viewers telling them. So you definitely have some Ws!
