Crazy how Alicia shit talked those critics when atleast one of them writes for the new york times, has over 40 cook books, and was a judge on iron chef

Similar experience, once I was boiling water for pasta and was waiting for the sink water to turn hot and someone told me cold water worked better. Fortunately I just decided they had no idea what they were talking about and went on my merry way.

47:00 - himbo manchild here. awful at cooking and no real experience when I first started and someone told me cold water boils faster cause it reacts to the heat quicker then warm water would. I was using cold water for like 2 years any time I made pasta.....us idiots ARE REAL sadly

tbh isn't the bad risotto going out ramsay's fault? ik in later seasons and in other shows he talks about being at the pass as the "last line of defense", so wasn't the more of a fuck up for ramsay rather than the chef?

Why'd Alicia act like vegetarian restaurants didn't exist lol????? "What are you going to do, open a veggie stand?" is crazy lol. Wendy should have just been clear she shouldn't be the one on meats since she has no experience with meat being a vegetarian. Like she'd reasonably be opening a vegetarian restaurant no? Why the hell would you be on the meat station when you have no experience with meat girl. Make someone else do it and do their job.

Honestly, I'm sure you and or your mom could cook a stunning beef wellington.
For the past 2 years, my mom and I have been making some at home (OK maybe my mom is doing most of the work but I'm still there helping) and it's honestly not nearly as complicated as it looks. I'm also in Canada and with one cut of beef that cost around 48-60$ we have enough for one meal each and a little bit left.
The rest of the ingredients maybe add another 20, so it's not that expensive for a fancy dinner.

Alicia, doctors tell you to save your kidney stone to be analyzed for its composition to determine the cause. (I’ve had to do it, they gave me a strainer to catch it)

Watching the video on my break in my car, I went full Uncle Roger in my head when you said for much the Wellington costs. "Hiyah! Hundred eighty dollars?!? Why?"

Ah alicia missed the end card saying that Jeff "left due to an injury" while the episode showed/acted like he got kicked out.
Also that lawsuit/settlement is ridiculous but also very in character.

Like I commented last reaction I had multiple kidney stones like twice a few years ago, I can still remember the pain. I was apparently screaming for the nurses to just cut me open because the pain was so bad. I say apparently because I don’t remember exactly what I said I only know because my family told me afterwards, they said it was scary. I had 2 in one kidney the first time and then 3 the second time. They were about a millimeter to 2 millimeters a piece. I don’t think I actually felt them in my kidneys as much as when I felt them moving to the bladder, that pain was excruciating second only to it coming out. Pissing blood for four days to a week wasn’t fun. Especially when it gets stuck entering the bladder to where you need the electroshock surgery to break it up into smaller pieces.

Alicia describing what makes Lobster gross and calling someone stupid for not liking it is pretty funny. I don't want my food to "bounce back" thanks.

Here's the issue with the women mocking the kidney stone. Their entire system is designed to stretch and push stuff out. Not only are men's not supposed to do that, being forced to piss out a sharp rock tearing up our insides is way more painful.

To people dismissing that stone; tell me you don't know human anatomy, without telling me you don't know human anatomy. Jeez. A mustard seed sized thing going through the tube from your kidney, through your bladder and urethra is enough to make anyone sob like they just had gs wound and got their heart broken in a five minute span. It takes waaaay too long for the amount of pain it gives.
