Dare to Scare (Dry Run): Memory of a Broken Dimension
Added 2019-09-23 07:00:02 +0000 UTCThis is a weird little game I saw many many years ago and was absolutely stunned by gifs and short videos because it looked so unique and weird. I'm not necessarily sure its meant to be scary, just weird and haunting. But that's still seasonally appropriate.
Fun fact: as I was uploading this to Youtube last night, I noticed the itch.io page for the game mentions the dev streams on Twitch. Despite the fact this executable is (apparently) from 2012 and no new videos or promotional material has surfaced from the game in years, I tuned in to their twitch stream to find them still diligently coding away at the game. That's very exciting, because the screenshots just on their Itch.io page look way more wild than the things we encounter in this demo.
Anyway, this is the last of the dry run videos for this year. You'll have to wait until sometime in October for me to get around to editing down the other videos I've already recorded. I have four more games recorded besides the two you just saw, and I want to shoot for recording at least two more. We'll see!
