Vedalken is ready for version 2.0, yes 2.0 instead of 1.1 will now be what the next update will be called. This is due to the massive changes, upgrades, and now being able to restore Fantastical Multiverse to a point that surpasses its Early Access version during patch 9. From now on the new update will be referred to as update 2.0. 1.0 to me was just a recovery of what I could from Patch 9. Update 2.0 will easily surpass both 1.0 and EA Ver 9's!
Any race that mentions having Partially Amphibious or Amphibious will gain the following:
This is because there isn't a way to swim or dive underwater in BG3 so it just deletes a whole passive for several of the races. I instead give you a small boost for these races so they still have the passive and it does something instead of nothing like it did in prior updates for this mod.
The description has been updated for them, faces have been cleaned up and suited for the race specifically. Vedalken no longer has a bunch of subraces to get around the limitations that use to prevent me from using the Early Access ver 9 method, thanks to an update that happened on Improved UI. You can now easily select the version of the passive you want to use just as you can in D&D Beyond. Vedelkan now uses a different animation than they did before, the body they use now has been modified to use the Githyanki animations.
HIGHLIGHT CHANGES
Partially Amphibious
By absorbing oxygen through your skin, you can breathe underwater for up to 1 hour. Once you’ve reached that limit, you can’t use this trait again until you finish a long rest.
In an update after 2.0 I will be making more heads that fit the more alien look they have but the old heads will remain for those that prefer these versions. So skin with no eyebrows, no pointed ears.
