Decades ago, the armies of the living lost to the archlich’s forces in the battle of Last Lament. When the Grim Harvest began, untold numbers of undead rose to hunt the living.
Now, lone survivors forage for dwindling supplies in the ruined cities of the past. Small paranoid communities try to stay hidden from the undead at all costs.
The elves and dwarves struck the Dark Bargain with the archlich: a century of safety in forest and mountain in exchange for undisputed reign over the human lands...
Heya, everyone,
Hope you all had fun generating your own versions of the Death Halls of Cragar-Dur last week!
This week's upload was inspired by an interesting discussion that surfaces at times on the Mythic GME forums: the function of setting in (solo) games, using the background of the world as an added context for answering oracle questions and other issues that come up during solo play.
While I love the old settings of yesteryear, (planescape, be still my beating heart) I also hugely appreciate the freedom offered by solo play, and being able to try out whatever setting I want whenever I want, for as long as I want!
I thought it would be an interesting experiment to make a couple of micro campaign settings usable for solo play as a quick pick-up game. I made it into a double-sided trifold, so you can just print it out, fold it up and put it in your solo gear box :)
Enjoy!
