"More than a hundred years ago, the sea hag Bilespite, having assumed the form of a beautiful mermaid, fell in love with Rickard, a young Bedlam fisherman. As the two lovers secretely met beneath the waves, Bilespite blessed the quiet fishing town with a plentiful marine bounty.
In order for them to be together, she had Kuo-Toan allies construct a beautiful palace made out of air-filled conch shells in a nearby shallow reef. However, Rickard eventually discovered her true form and the young fisherman fled from Bilespite in horror.
As the sea hag flew into a murderous rage, she vowed to punish all of Bedlam for her broken heart."
Hi everyone! I enjoyed making this aquatic-themed randomizing adventure location based on Jesper Ohlsson's creative input: 'Sunken Palace'.
You should be able to easily slip this location into the coastline of whatever game you are playing. The plight of the fishing town of Bedlam and the tragic story of Bilespite and her Fisherman could even be well-known further inland.
I particularly liked this result:
Bilespite’s waterlogged boudoir containing a murky water elemental and a mosaic depicting Rickard.
My main character had some trouble with a flooding room trap when the murky water elemental from this room followed her in...did not end well... Enjoy!
