Im a bit late to the party, but i somehow missed this one. You asked in the intro about found footage thats not horror. Both "Searching" and "Missing" are two movies that i recommend if you ever want to check out something thats not horror.

Rewatching this, I thought the actors were fantastic, does Quarantine really top this in your opinion? Might have to give that a rewatch then.

2025-07-20 20:33:21 +0000 UTCExcellent movie, with the subtitles seeming to disappear a short way in, as if your brain reads it without diverting your attention from what is going on. And listening to Simone shout "Oh fuck! Oh fuck! Oh fuck!" is a weird but enjoyable experience. She somehow looks so pure, as if sugar wouldn't melt, and yet... And this is the 57th movie Ive watched with you guys where she declares, "This is my worst fear" That's a whole heap of worst fears.

2025-07-20 14:40:05 +0000 UTCYou guys have to watch REC 2. It immediately picks up right where this one ends. It’s a sequel continuation of the story. RECS 3 and 4…meh. But 2 is just as good, if not better, in exploring the narrative lore further. As far as found footage films that have a survivor (which technically is a spoiler but I’ll keep it vague because survivors can be a loose term): As Above, So Below The Poughkeepsie Tapes Chronicle End of Watch Troll Hunter The Last Exorcism Zero Day Some of these are horror and some of these are non-horror but are genre films like fantasy and such. Edit: changed waste to watched.
