Violet-Eyed Serpent: Ch.19

A monstrous shockwave rippled across the large island as the wave of potent gravity made from my chakra clashed with the potent chakra of both Bijuu and I was thankful for the fact that Sessho had left the island as a quarter of it was turned into a wasteland.

All around the island, I could hear the panicked and pained shouts of the Kirigakure shinobi when the wave of acidic chakra rippled across the landscape and burned them all alive.

“Sessho! Get away as far as you can!” I amplified my voice with chakra right as I watched Isobu lifting a tail, quickly jumping back while weaving through hand signs before slamming both palms onto the ground.

Summoning Jutsu!

“My, my~ I knew that we had a new summoner, but even Orochimaru has not been capable of summoning one of us let alone all three of us.” I blinked at the amused female voice that spoke before the smoke faded and my eyes widened at the three female figures standing in front of me.

The first was the one that had spoken, her dark grey hair tied into two buns on the sides of her head while she wore a sleeveless white and blue robe with white sandals, a golden tiara and blue tomoe-shaped earrings.

“I disagree. There's a reason we are not summoned from the cave.” The second to speak was one that had her dark hair styled into a single bun on top of her head with the rest of her falling into a ponytail that reached her lower back.

Just like the first one, she was dressed in a long and loose-fitting white and red robe with a longer red dress beneath it along with a golden tiara and a necklace with three red tomoe on it.

“Ichikishimahime, Tagitsuhime, I believe I see why our new summoner has brought us here.” The last spoke up, her dark hair styled into three buns with one on the front of her head and the other two on the back.

Dressed in the same white robe as the other two with her own green trimmings and a green tomoe around the neck area, her golden tiara had green ribbons from either end as she looked at the two Bijuu and I slowly stood up when both of the other two turned with frowns aimed at the beasts.

“Uh, may I ask who you three are? I was hoping to summon Manda?”

“With the amount of chakra you pumped into the jutsu, you would have summoned the Great Snake Sage had we not decide to answer the call instead. However, I can see why you needed the three of us here.” The one with the red tomoe necklace spoke with a frown and I just blinked before the one in green spoke up.

“For the record, you haven't completed the three trials, but since Orochimaru would be mad at us for losing one of his only students, we shall help you this once. Afterwards, you must complete our three trials and become a Sage to summon us again.”

“I am so confused by what's happening.”

“Ufufufu~ Our apologies. I am Ichikishimahime, the Snake Sage of the Second Trial. These are my sisters Tagorihime and Tagitsuhime, the Snake Sages of the First and Third Trials respectively. It is a pleasure to meet you.” She spoke with a smile and I blinked before nodding back with my own unsure smile.

“It is a pleasure to meet you as well. I am Nagato Uzumaki.”

“An Uzumaki? I thought you redheads loved the toads and the slugs more than the snakes.”

“I'm a bit of an odd one.” I answered with a shrug and Ichiki giggled as Tagori smiled and Tagitsu hummed.

“Then we might get along, but for now, tell us the situation.”

“You dare summon these vermin to face us?!” Saiken took that time to chime and the trio of Snake Sages looked up at the Bijuu as it took a deep breath.

Wisdom Wolf Decay!

“Ah, the infamous acid mist of the Six Tails Saiken. Quite the jutsu if I must say so myself.” Tagori spoke with a smirk as we stared down the wave of pink mist slowly coming down on us before Tagitsu raised an eyebrow as my chakra surrounded us.

“What exactly are you doing?”

Preta Path

“Just replenishing some chakra.” I answered as the mist hit us, Ichiki humming and Tagori looking surprised as the chakra from the mist was drained away and the acid fell all around us in a liquid form.

“Ah, I forgot that the Rinnegan can absorb chakra.” Tagitsu spoke with a hum and I chuckled as Saiken ceased spitting out the mist, but I was surprised at the sheer potency of his chakra.

It felt as if I had nearly tripled my reserves and looked up at the slug before a smirk slowly grew across my face as I raised a hand towards it.

Deva Path

“Shinra Tensei.” Using up two thirds of the chakra I had absorbed, I watched in awe as a powerful force slammed into the chin of the slug, blinking as he was actively lifted up into the sky before falling into the sea surrounding the island.

“Just to be sure, Saiken is a slug, right?”

“I will kill you!!!”

“The Bijuu are made out of pure natural chakra. They're not actual animals.” Ichiki spoke with a smile as we watched Saiken emerge from the water and I winced as I saw him glaring at us.

Water Style: Great Water Mass Bullet!

Wind Style: Great Vacuum Bullet!

I turned as I heard a rush of water coming towards us before my eyes widened as Tagorihime glowed and grew to nearly match the three-tailed turtle in size, a monstrous bullet of wind shooting from her mouth right as a gigantic water bullet tore into it.

'…I miss the days when I was fighting against normal shinobi.' I thought with a deadpan stare as Tagorihime slowly lowered her head while looking at me.

“Hop on.” She spoke and I stopped marvelling at her shimmering green scales to hop onto her head, watching as Ichikishimahime and Tagitsuhime were obscured by a glow as well before they transformed into gigantic snakes that matched their sister in size.

“Tagorihime, I'm guessing the colour of your scales is the element you can use?”

“You would be correct in your assumption.”

“Ichikishimahime, are you water or lightning, then?” I asked and in response, the vibrant blue snake just turned while electricity sparked on the underside of her scales.

“Got it. Tagorihime, Tagitsuhime, may I ask if you two can distract Saiken long enough?”

“Sure thing.” Tagorihime nodded as she turned to the slug, who was making his way out of the water right as the green and dark-red scaled snake that was Tagitsuhime shot towards him.

The ground rumbled as I looked to Isobu before frowning when I saw him rolling towards us while trampling everything and everyone in his way, weaving through hand signs while talking to Ichikishimahime.

“Turn back human!”

Shadow Clone Jutsu!

Ichikishimahime didn't waste a single second to complain as she shrunk to human form in an instant, two clones forming besides us and throwing us high up into the air while two dozen of them fell to the floor.

Earth Style: Vast Mobile Core!

The moment the clones landed, the ground cracked for a few hundred meters before sinking in, a surprised roar coming from Isobu as he fell into the pit they had made.

Earth Style: Great Swamp of the Underworld!

The clones were not done as they all slammed their palms in unison onto the ground, popping with their job done as the three-tailed turtle slowly sunk into the muddy swamp below him.

“Shoot your most powerful lightning jutsu!” I shouted as I took a deep breath, Ichikishimahime shifting back into her serpent form immediately while lightning crackled around her body.

Water Style: Great Explosive Water Shockwave!

Lightning Style: Great Snake Lightning!

In unison, I threw up a gigantic torrent of water onto the turtle right as Ichiki spat out a giant bolt of lightning in the form of a snake, the bolt curving and slithering through the air before it crashed into the pit with a deafening roar.

Shadow Clone Jutsu!

Another clone formed besides me right as Ichiki appeared back in her human form besides me, the clone throwing us both to the ground and away from the pit as we landed a few meters from its edge.

“Believe that's enough?”

“Do you wish to have me answer that question?” She asked and I chuckled right as a monstrous roar echoed in the air, Isobu emerging from the smoke with his claws digging into the walls of the pit before he ripped himself out of it.

'Well, I've tried most of what I got and I'd rather not do that one yet, but it looks like I'll need to.' I thought with a frown as I looked at the Bijuu glaring down at me before taking a deep breath as I saw him gathering chakra in the form of a Tailed Beast Bomb aimed right at us.

“I don't suppose your absorption technique will work here, yes?” Ichikishimahime asked as we stared the technique down and I snorted while cracking my neck.

“I have a few more things to try out, but I'm going to need to stay out of his reach for a minute or so.” I said as I clasped my hand together, beginning to fuel chakra into them while Ichiki just nodded and chucked me up into the air, transforming into her serpent form and picking me up with a hiss.

'I've never tried this, but to whatever deity is listening in, please let this work.' With a deep breath, I fuelled more chakra into the jutsu I was currently creating, watching with a frown as Isobu roared and began charging after us.

Despite the small landscape around us, Ichikishimahime showed to be quite the movement expert as she easily slithered around his tails and claws, her body contorting in ways that made her head spun.

It was only thanks to the Wall Walking Technique that I was able to stick to her head when she decided to do an actual snake-style backflip over Isobu's body, lightning crackling through the air as it shot from her mouth and impacted the back of his head.

“Ichiki! Transform back!” I shouted as I leapt off of her head and onto Isobu's back, running up it while pulling my hands apart to reveal a swirling maelstrom of wind chakra in the form of a shuriken in between them.

Wind Style: Rasenshuriken!

Leaping into the air, the Rasenshuriken was carried from my hands by chakra threads connected to its centre before it slammed into the back of his head with a powerful explosion.

Ichiki was quick to jump through the air and catch me while carrying us both out of the danger zone, the both of us watching in awe and slight horror as the armour and flesh of Isobu's head was swiftly turned into a bleeding, gory mess.

Human Path

“Well, that is not the good sight.” Ichiki muttered and I didn't say anything as I jogged over, chakra gathering to my left hand right as I placed it against his head and pulled back while taking Goto's soul with me.

“Is that what I think it is?” Ichiki asked as I landed besides her and I smiled while watching as Isobu's body shrunk down instantly while my left hand kept a tight grip on Goto's soul.

“Yeah, I just wanted to make sure he didn't get a chance to try and kill us when he got back to his human form.” I said before turning as I heard a shriek of anguish echoing in the air, a bit concerned at the sight of Saiken slowly walking towards Goto's body before letting out a relieved sigh as two blurs rushed towards us.

“Looks like our foe did not like what you did.” Tagori spoke as she landed besides us in her human form, Tagitsu back in her human form as well as we watched the slug slowly walking to the spot where Goto's body laid still.

“Isobu…Lord Goto…” It sounded as if both Zangetsu and Saiken were speaking in unison and I watched as the slug turned its head towards us with a snarl.

'Well, this is about to get very tricky.' I thought with a sigh before looking up as Saiken let out another deafening shriek again.

However, before it could move, the ground cracked as I shot across the battlefield, each step accompanied by a burst of chakra that accelerated me even further before I leapt into the air while gathering chakra to my right hand's knuckles.

Heavenly Fist of Pain

Human Path

“Haaaaaaahhh!” A roar echoed from my lips as I slammed knuckles first into the acidic body of the slug, hissing at the acid dripping onto my knuckles and arm before the shockwave from my punch sent it flying backwards right as I grabbed onto its flesh.

The moment it stumbled backwards, I landed on the floor before jumping backwards, Saiken's body rippling as I ripped out Zangetsu's soul from his body before quickly weaving through hand signs when I saw his body shrinking down.

Summoning: King of Hell

Purple flames rippled outwards from behind me as I quickly grabbed the two souls once again, a smirk appearing on my face as the demonic face and Rinnegan eyes of the King of Hell stared back at me.

I didn't even have to order it to do anything as four tongue-like tendrils shot from its mouth the moment it opened it, two of the tongue tendrils wrapping around the bodies and pulling them into its mouth while the two other two tongues did the same with the souls.

“Do not restore them. Just keep them in stasis and ready.” I answered and I blinked as the King of Hell gave a slow nod before it sunk back into the ground, its violet flames vanishing before turning back to the battlefield to see the shocked Kirigakure shinobi standing around.

“You want what they got?” I asked and smirked as that broke their shock, watching as each of them ran away only to jump as hundreds of explosions rippled all around the coast of the island.

“More explosions! Make sure these wretched fools know what it means to mess with us Uzumaki!” I watched in awe as dozens of red-head sealing demons ran out of the barrier and threw what was probably hundreds of exploding tags through the air.

“You!” Turning to the old Uzumaki with dull red hair that spoke up, I watched as he slowly walked towards me along with a dozen or so more.

“We shall be leaving. Remember, you must first finish your training before we help you again.” Tagitsuhime spoke with a frown and I smiled while bowing my head.

“I will. Thank you for helping me despite not needing to.”

“It was our pleasure, Nagato. See you at the Trials.” With Ichikishimahime's final words, I watched as the three of them vanished in puffs of smoke before turning back to the old Uzumaki right as they stopped to look at me.

“Does he belong to you?” I asked and my smile widened as I heard a familiar bark, looking past them only to grunt as Sessho leapt onto me with the force of a boulder.

“Ourgh~ I missed you too, buddy…but you're a bit too big~!” I groaned and gasped as he climbed off, the dog looking happy with himself as I stood up while grumbling at his dopey look.

“Really?” I asked while dusting off my cloak, rolling my eyes at his bark before turning back to the old Uzumaki to see the relaxed smile on his face.

“Yep, he's definitely is. What's your name, young Uzumaki?”

“Nagato Uzumaki, son of Fuso Uzumaki.”

“Ah, I remember young Fuso. Sweet girl, though from the look on your face, I'm guessing she's no longer with us.” He spoke and I just gave a sad smile while nodding.

“She died when I was five, which is how I awaken these.” I said while pointing at my eyes and he finally took notice of them before I watched as his eyes widen.

“Are…Are those what I believe they are?”

“They are ind-!” My eyes widened as I felt pain exploding in my side, hearing Sessho yelp as he got thrown to the side while I slowly looked down to see the numerous wooden tendrils stabbed throughout my body.

“Ah, I was hoping to not hurt you this badly, but I guess it's a good thing since I missed your vital points.” The eerie voice speaking behind me was one I knew all to well and I slowly turned my head to stare at the dozens of pale-white humanoids crawling out of the ground with wooden tendrils around their lower body.

The one in question just smiled as he kept his tendrils and my eyes widened as I felt my chakra being drained away at a rapid pace.

“Now, you'll be coming with us.”

Heh, you got Zetsu. Now we just wait for Madara.

Nagato got two new Tailed Beasts inside the King of Hell, but what is he going to do now that the big boss of the verse is going after him?

We'll have to wait and see.
