27)Foxy Adventures: Ch.27

The moment we landed outside of the Torture and Interrogation Unit's building, I frowned as I noticed a few ANBU members hiding in plain sight, knowing that there were probably a dozen or so of them hidden in the shadows.

“This way.” The ANBU that led me here spoke and I nodded as I followed him, tapping the three-pronged kunai at my side and glancing around at the numerous shinobi walking around.

Some seemed surprised to see me while others looked as if they were expecting me to come and I was thankful for one thing when I saw both the old man and Jiraiya waiting with frowns on their faces.

'It's a good thing I made those Shadow Clones earlier to go train.'

“This a formal or informal meeting?” I asked and nodded as the old man let out a soft sigh while Jiraiya scratched the back of his head.

Formal, then.

“What do you require of me, Lord Hokage?” I asked and the old man smiled amusedly at my shift before walking away, Jiraiya gesturing for me to follow as we began following the old man down the long hallways.

“I wish we could have done this sooner, but with the chaos that was dealing with the aftermath of the invasion and the abrupt attack from Itachi and Kisame, I had to wait until you returned from your mission to do this.”

“Which is?”

“The first is that the Jinchuriki from the Sand has finally woken up and is now with his siblings.”

“Wait, we still have Gaara?” I asked in surprise as I looked to Jiraiya, who smirked as he nodded.

“Huh, negotiations?”

“Yep. With them in our custody, the Sand are forced to follow our commands lest they lose the bloodline of the Kazekage. Don't look so worried, Naruto. We are still handing them back when it's all done.” The old man spoke when he saw the slight concern in my eyes and I gave a sheepish smile before nodding.

“Right. What about his seal? Is it still faulty?”

“Nope, I gave him a Four Symbols Seal so his mind is completely cut off and Tsunade is busy with helping him heal his mind.”

“Good. Then, I'm guessing the second matter is why the ANBU sounded like he was in a hurry?” I asked, humming as the old man nodded before we turned the corner.

“Lord Hokage, Lord Jiraiya, Naruto.” I was a bit confused and surprised at the sight of Ino's dad and Ibiki standing on both sides of a door, looking as if they had been waiting for us.

“Ibiki, Inoichi. I assume she is awake?”

“We had to remove everyone again because she made another genjutsu.” Inoichi's muttered words as well as Ibiki's disgruntled look made me blink as Jiraiya chuckled the old man smiled.

“Ah, I see. Well, then. Naruto, you enter first.”

“Do I even want to know who this she is?”

“She's another Uzumaki we found during the battle.” The old man answered and I slowly turned to look at him, trying to see for any sign of a joke.

“Are you being serious right now, Lord Hokage?”

“Indeed I am.”

“…Well, what are we waiting for then?” I asked as I walked forward, drawing an amused chuckle from the man as Ibiki just snorted and opened the door before handing a pair of ear plugs to me.

“This should stop her genjutsu for a bit while still letting you hear her speak.”

'Ear plugs? Genjutsu that most likely uses sound? …Wait, Tayuya's an Uzumaki?' I thought even as I put the ear plugs in, keeping the surprise from my face as I took a deep breath before walking through.

“Urgh, they sent a kid this time?” I raised an eyebrow at the sight of Tayuya hanging in the air by her arms, her clothing nothing more than ragged and bland striped prisoner clothes while chains kept her hands and feet far away from each other.

“More like a fellow clan member even though I have no clue just how we're related. The name's Naruto Uzumaki, special Jounin of the Leaf. What's yours?”

“Bitch. Nice to meet you.” She spoke with a malicious grin and I rolled my eyes while sitting down in front of her.

“Come on, I'm being nice here. Can you at least try to do the same?”

“No, what the hell made you think that?”

“Let me talk to her~ She'll be talking real quick.”

“Kurama, no. I still want her to not think of me as a monster.” I spoke with a roll of my eyes, drawing a confused look from her while I sighed as I heard the fox scoff.

“Just saying. Give me five minutes and she'll be singing like a bird.”

“Sure, I'll keep you in mi-Is she really trying to make a genjutsu now?” I thought with a deadpan stare aimed at the woman, who had a gleeful smile on her face as she whistled a rather soothing tune.

Unfortunately for her, I quickly flushed away the foreign chakra in my system with a burst of my own and her eyes widened as I raised an eyebrow.

“You remember the part where I said I was a special jounin, right? Also, without your Curse Mark, you're not even close to my level.”

“…Fuck off.”

“Come on, what's going to happen if you tell me your name?” I asked before shrugging as she simply stayed silent with a glare.

“And here I was going to ask whether or not you wanted better accommodation, but I suppose if you don't want to…”

“What the hell would make me believe that you're capable of doing that?”

“Because the old man Hokage sees me as a grandson, especially since he's been taking care of me since I was a kid. Well, not exactly taking care of me as I've been living on my own, but he does give me a monthly stipend.”

“Yeah, that's called giving money because he needs to.”

“Urgh~ Lord Hokage, what exactly am I even supposed to do here?” I asked out loud and she raised an eyebrow as Hiruzen poked his head in with a smile before answering.

“Simply talk to her.”

“Well, can we get her some better living conditions, like a bed maybe?”

“If she promises to not put my shinobi in a genjutsu, then perhaps I might do so.”

“Do you promise to stop putting the shinobi in genjutsu?”

“Yes.”

“She's lying.”

“I am not.”

“Oh, brother.” I muttered with a sigh at their responses, Tayuya glaring at the old man as he looked smug before shaking my head.

“How am I the mature one here?”

“I don't know. Perhaps you're in a genjutsu?”

“No, my chakra is fine.”

“Huh, I guess you're maturing then. It's about damn time too. I was starting to get irritated with that prankster personality of yours.”

“Keep talking shit and I'm singing Baby Shark all over again.”

“You do that and I'll make that annoying alarm sound from that Apple thing you hate.”

“Oh, you devious bastard.”

“Takes one to know one.”

“Naruto, talking to the Nine Tails again?” Hiruzen's voice knocked me from my argument and I blinked before snorting at his amused look, turning back to Tayuya to see her eyes wide.

“Yo-You're the Jinchuriki of the Nine Tails?”

“Yes, but you don't have to worry about him. He doesn't take over unless I wan-!”

“My name is Tayuya. I'm 17 years old. I do not know my parents or any of my family members and I've been serving in Orochimaru's personal guard since I was 10. I am still a virgin and fertil-”

“Woahwoahwoah! You don't have to say everything!” I quickly cut her off before she could go on, Tayuya blinking at me interrupting her while the old man couldn't help his chuckles.

“Firstly, are you saying this because you want to or because you think I'm going to let the Nine Tails at you?”

“Bitch, you're the Jinchuriki of the strongest Tailed Beast in existence. What do you think?”

“Hah, you don't have to be scared of me. I'm not the type to do that. Now, secondly, I don't want to know all of that. I just want to know…Uh, Lord Hokage, what do we want to know again?”

“The location of all Orochimaru's hideouts as well as his routine between going to them all.”

“I only know of seven important hideouts and 30 unimportant hideouts like the other three guards do because he did not trust us enough with the entire network of hideouts. Honestly, we believe he may have more.”

“Where are the bases located that you know of?”

“Near the Land of Lightning.” Tayuya answered and Hiruzen frowned before turning to me as I stood up.

“Thank you for coming, but now I need to ask something of you.”

“I have to take care of her?” I asked, shrugging as he nodded before smirking as I saw Tayuya's nervous gaze.

“No, that doesn't mean I have to kill you. I just have to keep you under my gaze for a period of probation before you're allowed to do whatever you want.”

“You're…you're just going to let me go? Just like that?” She asked with a surprised look and I shrugged before turning to the old man as he spoke up.

“After you give us the locations, I will personally escort you to Naruto's apartment where I'm sure he'll make the necessary accommodations for you.”

“…My landlady is going to kill me, but I think I'd be able to score you an apartment on the top floor like Karin and I.”

“Karin?” She asked with a raised eyebrow and I nodded while crossing my arms.

“Yeah, another Uzumaki that's our cousin.”

“Actually, we did a DNA test with your DNA and Karin's and we found that Tayuya here also possesses the DNA of Kushina Uzumaki, your mother.” Hiruzen answered and I slowly turned to him as Tayuya looked just as surprised.

“You mean she's my sister?

“Half-sister to be more technical, but yes.” The old man answered with a nod and I blinked at the response before nodding with a deep exhale.

“…I swear to god, I'm killing Orochimaru the first chance I get.”

“…Say that again. I'm sure I may have misheard you the first time.”

“I need some of the First Hokage's blood if you have it.” I spoke and the old man just looked at me while Jiraiya raised an eyebrow.

“Why exactly do you need the First Hokage's blood?”

“Because we need the lifeforce inside of it as well as his close connection to Ashura to boost your own chakra more.”

“According to Kurama, his chakra could help me in inheriting some of the First Hokage's insane power.”

“You mean you wish to have the Wood Style?” The old man Hokage asked with a frown and I shrugged as Kurama snorted.

“I wouldn't mind it, but I'm mainly looking to get some of his lifeforce.”

'After all, if everyone is going to cheat using his cells, why can't I?'

“Kurama, I know you don't like us using your name, but what are the chances of Naruto dying if we do give him some of the First's blood?”

“Zero. If you open the cage by a bit while giving him some of the lifeforce, my chakra will heal his body as fast as Hashirama's chakra breaks it down.”

“Wait, Hashirama's chakra is that potent?” I asked with a frown and the fox snorted while nodding as we switched places once again.

“The man was the closest thing this world was to the Second Coming of Father without even needing our chakra.”

“…Huh, did not know the First was that strong.” I muttered before tuning out from my thoughts and looking to the old man as he nodded.

“Very well. If it will help you, I shall give you some of Lord First's blood, but I will be administering it myself.”

“Great. Just a question. How big is the needle going to be?” I asked with a slightly nervous smile since both the previous Naruto and I shared the same very slight fear for needles.

Just a slight one.

“Do not worry. It's going to be the size of a small pen.”

“…That just makes me worry more.” I spoke with a frown and huffed at his chuckle before I blinked as I felt memories flashing in my mind.

“Right, looks like Kakashi-sensei needs me for something. When do you want to do this blood thing?”

“As early as possible since I don't want others to hear of it.” He said with a pointed stare at the kunai at my hip and I rolled my eyes while nodding.

“Okay, early tomorrow morning then. Pervy Sage, think we could hold that test to see how good I am with my calligraphy and seal knowledge tonight?”

“Sure thing. I'll drop them off and I'll leave a Shadow Clone to make sure you don't cheat.”

“You're just scared that I'll get a higher score than you.” I spoke with a grin as I walked to the windows, snickering as he rolled his eyes before turning to the amused Hiruzen with a smile.

“Thanks for letting me get the blood, old timer. See you bright and early tomorrow.”

“Also, don't forget about your meeting with Gaara tomorrow since he wants to meet you.”

“He does?” It's been a few days since my meeting with Tayuya and I have to admit that I was expecting him to ask for me, but not this soon.

“Yes. He along with his siblings want to speak to you about fixing his condition.”

“Ah, sure. I'll be there. Bye~! I shouted as I dove out the window, a clone forming besides me with a single hand sign before he grabbed the back of my shirt and threw me through the air.

'Time to see what sensei wants.'

“What do you think? Fits good, doesn't it?” Karin said with a grin as she stood besides Sakura, adjusting the new Hidden Leaf headband around her forehead.

“Yep, pretty good looking though I have to say that is to be expected of us Uzumaki. We're always good looking.”

“Yes, yes, indubitably.” Karin agreed with a nod, which I returned as the other two members of Team 7 palmed their faces and Kakashi snickered from behind his book.

“Dear gods, there's two of them.”

“Hey, you two should feel honored to have another Uzumaki on your new Team 7, but I have to admit it stings quite a bit that you replaced me this easily.”

“You're the one who asked for her to be on the team.” Sakura spoke with a deadpan and I huffed while shaking my head.

“Because I thought you guys would argue a bit.”

“She's an upgrade compared to you.”

“I don't think pretty boy agrees.” I spoke with a nod to Sasuke, who rolled his eyes before looking to Sakura and Karin.

“Ah, I am sad I'm not going to be there to see it, but I am also happy to hear the stories from sensei when it's just you guys out on a mission.”

“I hate you for this.”

“Look at it this way, buddy. You now get to be on a team with two ladies who fawn over you. The nights of camping might even get a bit spicy~.”

“Should you be somewhere? Like anywhere but here?” He asked with a glare and I rolled my eyes while taking a few steps back.

“Usually, yes, but Kakashi-sensei was the one that called me here.”

“Yes, this is simply a gathering to tell you…that we're going on a mission.”

“…Really?” I asked with a raised eyebrow, the others looking just as exasperated as the man smiled and nodded.

“Yep, thought you'd want to say goodbye before we leave for the Hidden Waterfall.”

“Ooh~ C-Rank?”

“Yep, we have to escort the village leader.” He answered and I hummed as I remembered that the Hidden Waterfall did have their Jinchuriki.

“Fu! Right, that's her name. She's the one with the Seven Tails Chomei, right Kurama?”

“Why the hell are you asking me?”

“Getting a second confirmation doesn't hurt.” I answered and smirked as he shrugged before tuning out from my thoughts while looking at them.

“Cool. Then I guess I can only hope this doesn't turn out to be another Zabuza thing.”

“If it is, it's Kakashi's fault.”

“Wait, why mine?” Kakashi asked with a raised eyebrow and Sasuke just rolled his eyes as Sakura shrugged.

“You're the one who accepts the mission on our behalf.”

“I do, but if you feel that you guys want to keep doing D-Ranks, I have no problem with that.”

“Oh, we did not say that.” Sakura spoke with a frown and Kakashi shrugged before I spoke.

“Well, then I'll wish you guys good luck on your mission. I got to meet Hinata for…something.”

“You guys finally going to finish your bet?” Karin asked with a smirk and I rolled my eyes as I shrugged.

“Maybe, maybe not. I just hope her sensei doesn't skin me alive.”

“Eh, don't worry. Kurenai's just going to chop you up if she doesn't like you.”

“…That doesn't make me feel better.” I spoke with a deadpan look and he chuckled while snapping his book shut.

“Wasn't supposed to. See you when we get back.”

“I'll try to bring back a souvenir.” Karin spoke with a smile before she followed after the other three, leaving me to watch them leave before I shrugged as I turned and hopped back to where I remember Hinata's house being.

'Time to finish this bet.'

A/N: Well, Naruto finds a new sibling, he asks for Hashirama's blood and Team 7 are going away on a mission, but will it be a good one or will their infamous luck strike?

We'll have to wait until the next chapter.
