39)Perfection? Not For Me: Ch.39

“Uh, Mother?”

“Yes, Glorio?” Towa asked as she slowly landed on the planet where she last sensed Cell's energy, having teleported their ship numerous times across the vacuum of space to get to it.

“Where exactly are we?” Panzy was the one to ask and Towa smirked as she stood up while deactivating her ship, the two children standing up as the woman stretched and walked out onto the metallic surface of the ship.

“We are on Planet Earth, dears. As for them, I do not know them.” Towa lied as she stared at the group gathered in front of her, a bit amused at the sight of Android #18 standing in front of the civilians while Launch had a pair of Uzi pointed at her.

“Who's the alien lady and the kids behind her?” Blonde Launch asked and #18 frowned as she saw the woman looking amused, reminding her of a certain insect that also felt amusement within everything.

“Don't know. Hey, who are you?!” Bulma shouted from behind #18 and Towa smiled before she appeared right in front of the woman, everyone freezing as Towa winked before reappearing in front of her children.

“Do not worry about who I am. I simply wish to ask if you all have seen Cell perhaps.”

“Hah, of course you're with him. Yeah, he was here a few minutes ago along with some gods, but Goku and the others just left after he finished fighting one of the gods.” Chi-Chi explained and Towa hummed as she looked in the direction where she felt Cell's energy.

'Hmm, from the looks of it, he's not dead and…has grown somewhat in strength. Not bad.'

“I see. So he did fight the god of Destruction, then.”

“Wait, so Cell was telling the truth about that stuff?” Oolong asked and Towa looked at him before nodding.

“He did explain it to you then. Yes, Lord Beerus and Lord Whis are the god of Destruction and his Angel respectively and they are not to be underestimated. However, it appears that Lord Beerus is not fully awake yet which is why he didn't destroy the planet during his battle.”

“You speak as if you know him on a more personal front.” #18 spoke and Towa snorted as she shook her head.

“I wish. I only know of him thanks to my studies as Lord Beerus is millions of years older than I am. Actually, Lord Beerus is arguably one of the oldest beings in the multiverse.”

“So, Cell brought said being to our planet? Well, it's a good thing I don't feel bad about him getting his ass beat then.”

“I would refrain from speaking about my beloved that way.”

“Mother, he is not your beloved.” Glorio spoke with a roll of his eyes, looking the side as Towa crossed her arms with a huff while the Earthlings just looked surprised.

“Damnit! Even the bug got more game than me!” Master Roshi grumbled and Towa was amused at the old toad's words before remembering her son's words and looking at him.

“So, what's that about him not being my beloved?”

“The only thing you've two have done that is even remotely related to a relationship is kiss a few times and those always end in Lord Dabura chasing him around.”

“Ha! But now my brother is no longer here so Cell and I are finally alone.”

“We're still here.” Panzy spoke with a raised eyebrow and Towa looked at her before nodding.

“That is true. Hmm…what to do?”

“While my mother is busy in her own world, it is a pleasure to meet you all. I am Glorio. This is Panzy and that is my mother Towa.”

“Hello! What ship is this?” The young girl asked and Bulma blinked at the question before responding.

“It's a simple cruise ship. What ship is that you guys came on?”

“Oh, it's a Cruiser Model A15, the latest one in the Demon Realm. Can go from 0 to 100 in .3 seconds without disturbing those inside the ship and can hold up to six people.”

“Ooh~ What kind of engine is it?” Bulma asked as she walked towards the girl, who giggled as she dragged Bulma to the ship while the others relaxed when they saw Glorio looking at ease while Towa was looking to the distance.

“Glorio.”

“Yes, Mother?” He asked before sighing as he saw the interested look in her eyes as she gazed into the distance.

“Protect your sister while I'm gone. I need to go see what Cell is up to.”

“I will.” The demon nodded and Towa nodded with a smile before her staff appeared in her grasp, the air around her freezing as she lunged and shot through the sky at a blistering pace.

'Of course the idiot decides to fight them.'

“I still think this is a bad idea.” I spoke with a sigh as I stood on the ground, Gohan standing a few meters away with a similar look of unease as the Saiyans and Piccolo stood on a tall hill.

“Nah, it's good.”

“Goku, you realize that if something happens to Gohan, Chi-Chi is going to kill you, right?” Piccolo spoke and Goku gave a nervous giggle while I rolled my eyes as he looked at me.

“Don't worry, I can heal him if anything bad happens and I'll hold back.”

“Hah, thank you. See, all good! Now remember, fight as if you're trying to kill each other…but don't actually try to kill each other!”

“I'm sorry for having to deal with him every day.” I said with a smile and heard Goku's whining as Gohan giggled and nodded.

“It's fine. You get used to it after a while.”

“Hahahaha~! Sounds like a fun time. Well, are you ready?” I asked, watching as he nodded while slowly shifting what appeared to be a mixture of Piccolo's and Goku's stances.

“Ready.”

“Begin when you wa-!” I leaned back as he shot back, the teenager sailing over me with a kick before flipping and raising a forearm right as he landed and spun around with a heel kick.

Unlike the other Saiyans, Gohan didn't waste a second as he dropped his leg while twisting his body, aiming an elbow strike at my side.

Shifting my weight, I lowered my arm and let the blow sink into my arm before grabbing his arm and throwing a quick jab at his chest.

However, his eyes narrowed in focus as he reacted fast, pushing off of the ground with a flip around the punch while ripping his arm free and lashing out with a stomp that he used to jump away.

“Not bad. You're quick on your feet.” I spoke with a smirk as he landed light on his feet, a smile on his feet as he nodded.

“Dad's been training with me.”

“Nice. Got anything else?” I asked and without warning, he vanished and I reacted quickly as I kicked to the side, my foot meeting his feet and sending a shockwave rippling across the ground.

“That wasn't just an Afterimage, was it? Has your dad been teaching you Instant Transmission?” I asked and chuckled as he just smirked while jumping back, lowering my own foot before I rushed at him.

Gohan quickly dodged my first punch before grunting as my fist spun around and impacted his back, the teenager quickly recovering as he slipped between my legs while kicking at my right knee.

I felt my legs buckle instinctively before it shifted back into position and I spun around, my fists a blur as I threw a barrage of punches right as he spun around.

I had to admit that while I was holding back by a lot, the kid had some skill as he dodged some and blocked the others, but I could also see that his fighting style was not fully developed as I caught the slight openings in his stance.

Faking a right hook, he went to guard before I dipped low and lashed out with a leg sweep, a gasp escaping his lips as his feet were knocked out from under him before I grabbed his collar and threw him to the sky.

He did recover midair and flipped around, a smirk appearing on my face as I saw him cup his hands at his side before a flicker of energy appeared in his palms.

“Ka…Me…”

'Kamehameha already? I thought he would have gone for-!' I blinked as the teenager teleported away, feeling his energy appear behind me and spun around to fire my own blast.

However, I couldn't help my smirk at the golden aura surrounding him as his hair spiked up while he held his hands upwards and the Kamehameha shifted to a golden sphere of energy.

“Masenko Ha!” With a roar, he went Super Saiyan right as the beam of energy crashed into me, illuminating the area around us before I raised a hand and caught it with a grunt.

Feeling the ki trying to burn my hand away, my own ki wrapped around my body before I steadied myself and slowly pushed it back.

I was surprised though as the teenager didn't stop pushing more power into the blast, his aura surging and flaring wildly as the beam actually began pushing me back.

'I mean, I don't want to go too hard…but I'm not getting my ass kicked by Gohan like my canon counterpart.' I thought with a frown as I took a deep breath before the crimson aura of Kaio-Ken flared around me.

With a grunt, I pushed forward before slapping his attack to the side, sending it flying off into the distance before Gohan quickly leapt back as I rushed towards him.

His eyes widened as he quickly tried to cover himself, but he barely had time to react before I swung a fist at his gut.

He barely managed to twist away with a spin and barely avoided the strike, countering with a sharp knee to my side that gave him enough room before he lunged in with a flurry of punches that I swerved and dipped around with a growing smirk.

I guess it's time to up the level.

Vanishing with a Kai Kai, I appeared behind him with my hands clasped together and raised above my head before swinging down with a roar.

Gohan quickly raised his arms above him and barely blocked the strike, but a wheeze escaped his lips as I slammed a knee into his back, sending him flying forward and across the ground.

However, I was not done as I vanished with another Kai Kai and appeared in his flight path, kicking outwards and sending him crashing into the ground.

I smirked as he flipped over the moment he slammed into the ground, watching as he panted while wiping the sweat from his forehead.

“If you wanna win, you'll have to dig deeper. Show me something.”

“Yeah, I'd figured it would be something like that.” I heard him mutter before his energy surged, making me smirk as I hopped from foot to foot.

The next moment, the ground erupted as the two of us shot forward, clashing our forearms against each other and sending out a shockwave that shook the ground below us as I grinned.

“Good. Go all out.” I spoke and he didn't waste a single second as he vanished, my body quickly spinning around and swinging a backhand as he kicked at my head.

The impact made the air ripple as both of us flew backwards, but I waited as I watched him vanish midair and appear in front of me with a leg already raised high.

Dodging to the left as he brought it down, the force of it split apart the ground for dozens of kilometers as I reached forward and grabbed the front of his gi.

However, he quickly slapped my arm off while spinning away, lashing out with a heel kick to my jaw only for to catch the kick without looking.

“Wha-!” I didn't give him time to recover as my fist swung through the air, the wind being knocked from him as I connected to his stomach before grabbing his gi once more.

This time, he didn't get a chance to get away as I yanked him towards me and buried my knee into his chest, my arm wrapping around him as I spun and connected with an elbow to his side that launched him across the land scape and through a mountain.

Watching as the mountain came crumbling down onto his form, I looked towards Goku and shook my head at the slightly concerned look in his eyes, Vegeta looking as stoic as ever while the Earthlings and Piccolo just shook their heads.

Yeah, may have gone a little overboard there.

“Hey, you still with us, Gohan?!” I shouted while floating down, waiting a brief moment only for a pillar of golden energy to sent the rubble flying as he walked out while wiping the blood from his mouth.

“Urgh. Kind of.” He grunted while holding his stomach and I landed in front of him before he blinked as I placed a hand on his shoulder and healed the damage.

“And like that, brand as new. You see now what you got to work on.”

“Yeah, I know how hard to push now.” He spoke and I smiled as I floated back, crossing my arms and awaiting as he took a deep breath before his aura erupted.

'Come on.' His growls echoed in the air as I watched the sparks of electricity appearing in his aura now and again, feeling the others' anticipation as we watched his energy climbing up more and more.

“Keep going, Gohan!”

“Don't doubt! Don't hesitate and stop holding back!” Piccolo's voice echoed from the side and I watched as Gohan kept trying to force more energy out before a grin spread across my face as his energy surged upwards.

With a roar, the world around him exploded and I teleported backwards, watching as the golden pillar of light obscured him from view.

“Well, Goku. Looks like you guys got another one.” I spoke with a grin and Goku was ecstatic as the light faded away, Gohan inhaling and exhaling deep breaths while looking at us with a tired smile.

Unlike before, his hair was spiked up straight with a single bang hanging above his right eye and his bright blue eyes shone with the light of the golden aura that had now taking a jagged flame-like appearance instead of the smooth flowing one it was before.

However, it appears Gohan pushed himself too far as I went to catch the falling teen before Goku did it instead, watching as the father helped his son stand with a proud smile.

“Sorry for pushing you that far, son.”

“Hehe, it's okay, Dad. I'm used to it.” Gohan joked with a smile and I stayed silent as everyone congratulated the Saiyan before blinking as I felt an energy coming in from the side.

Disappearing and reappearing besides her, I grinned as Towa swung instinctively and chopped my head off, the woman raising an eyebrow before shaking her head as I simply reattached my head to my body.

“If that was anyone else, they would have been dead.”

“If it was anyone else, they deserved it for sneaking up on me. What happened to Lord Beerus?”

“We fought, I managed to damage him somewhat and in return, he was impressed and decided to leave everything as it was.”

“Oh, nice. I see you've met up with the Z-Fighters, though. Did they try something?” She asked and I watched as they all finally noticed Towa and I flying in the air as I chuckled and shook my head.

“No, Goku wanted some help in getting Gohan to achieve Super Saiyan 2.”

“See? Even Cuu calls it Super Saiyan 2.”

“Cuu?” Towa whispered and we ignored the Saiyans arguing as I nodded while crossing my arms.

“Cell and Buu equals Cuu.”

“Majin Cuu, I'm assuming?”

“You'd be assuming correctly.” I nodded and she rolled her eyes before we turned as Yamcha spoke up.

“So, Cuu, going to introduce us to the beautiful lady?”

“Demoness, actually. I am Towa, the younger sister to the Demon King Dabura and beloved to my dear Cuu here.” That made them blink before they turned to me and I smirked before shrugging.

“How?”

“Remember those Demon Gods I spoke of? They were about to destroy the Demon Realm so Towa, her brother and I took them out.”

“You mean you took them out while my brother and I were nothing more than distractions.”

“Hey, distractions or not, you guys still contributed.” I countered and she rolled her eyes before I looked forward as Goku floated closer.

“Hey, I'm Goku!” He spoke with a happy smile and Towa just looked amused as she daintily took his hand and shook it.

“Well met, even if I've already met you dozens of times.”

“Uh…huh?”

“I'm a time traveller like Cuu, but I was more of the…antagonistic variety of time travellers before I changed and decided to stay in my timeline forever.”

“…Are time travellers just being pumped out of the woodworks or what?” Tien muttered and I couldn't help but laugh at his words as Towa giggled.

“Wait until you all hear of the Time Patrol, a police organization made to combat and detain time travellers.”

“…What?”

“Really?! I can have these, Bulma?” I just watched as Bulma giggled while handing a bag of capsules to an excited Panzy, Glorio looking just as pleased with the arm cannon he had before I slowly turned to the new and improved space ship that Bulma and Panzy worked together on.

“We were gone for a few minutes, right?” I asked as I looked to Towa, who was nodding while looking just as impressed at how fast they worked.

“We were, indeed. I guess Panzy does have that way of making others adore her.” She spoke with a smile and I chuckled before looking to Panzy as she rushed over with an excited smile.

“Cuu, she gave me so much!”

“I can see. You're going to be busy for the next couple of weeks, aren't you?” I asked and laughed as she blushed while Towa giggled.

“Ignore him, Panzy. We'll be making a lot of things when we get back to the new planet.”

“Wait, planet?” Bulma asked and Towa nodded as I decided to answer.

“Yeah, Goku and the others will tell you guys, but in simple terms, I took over the Frieza Force along with his headquarters and made it into a fighting force for good.”

“Of course you did, because you just like going above and beyond, don't you?” She muttered with a sigh and I shrugged before Towa turned to Glorio as he walked closer.

“Are you ready to depart?”

“I am.”

“Panzy, got anything left you want to do?”

“Nope!” She spoke with an excited smile and she and Glorio boarded the spaceship, Towa following after her as I looked to the Z-Fighters.

“Last time we saw each other, you guys and I were trying to kill each other. Well, it was more you guys trying and failing to kill me.”

“That is true.” Goku nodded and I chuckled before their eyes widened as memories flashed through their minds.

“That was a little technique I came up with called the Fusion technique. Goku and Vegeta, I've also given you both information on how to contact me if you two ever want to take that next step to becoming gods.”

“Hmph! I suppose if you insist, who am I to deny your offer?” The Saiyan prince spoke with a frown and I smirked as Bulma rolled her eyes while Goku grinned excitedly.

“I'll have to check with Chi-Chi, but I'm sure it's all good.”

“Don't worry, I'll make sure he doesn't bother you.” His wife spoke with a smile and I gave a thankful nod before walking over to the spaceship, the door closing up as I placed a hand on the side of it.

“Uh, Cuu? I think you're supposed to get inside of the ship.” Krillin spoke with an amused smile, which I returned as I winked while my ki flared around me.

“I'm a god, remember? See you guys when I see you. Kai Kai.” With two simple words, the sight of the Z-Fighters vanished and was replaced by the surprised faces of Broly and Granolah, both immediately frowning as I let out a sigh while scratching the back of my head.

“We need to talk, huh?” I spoke and sighed as Granolah nodded.

“Yeah, we do.”

“Hah…gather everyone in the gathering room. It's time to sort this out.”

A/N: And we end off the chapter with a cliffhanger. Also, Gohan now has Super Saiyan 2.

I based the transformation sequence based on that one filler part in Z where Gohan briefly transforms into it in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber before he passes out.

At least, I think it was a filler scene?…Eh, we'll take it as we get it.
