38)Perfection? Not For Me: Ch.38

The sky was dyed with crimson light as I blasted through the air, my muscles bulging and my veins visible to the naked eye as they strained to control the energy.
The sky rumbled as I swung a fist forward, Beerus swiftly lifting a hand and blocking it only to be surprised as I activated Forced Spirit Fission and quickly absorbed a bit of his god ki.
The moment I did, he leapt back and I hissed as my heartbeat pounded in my skull, the sheer raw potency of his god ki already tearing my body apart from the inside.
Beerus looked genuinely intrigued as his ki slowly mixed with my own, gritting my teeth and forcing my regeneration into overdrive as he rose an eyebrow.
“Oh? That is quite the technique you have there. The…Yardratians, yes? Tell me, though. Can your body handle my energy in its purest form?” He asked and I managed to give him a smirk as I took a deep breath and bathed in the rush of adrenaline his energy gave me.
“Who knows? Let's find out!” With a single step, I vanished, my body a blur of red light piercing the sky as I swung a right hook that had enough force behind it to visibly twist the space around it.
Beerus grunted with the impact as he blocked it, the attack sending him skidding back slightly while the shockwaves from our impact tore through the sky and shattered the ground below us even more.
I didn't relent as I vanished with a Kai-Kai, appearing behind him with a leg raised before bringing it down upon his skull with a devastating axe-kick.
He simply raised a finger and my heel slammed into it before my eyes widened as he looked up and smirked at my nervous gaze.
“Impressive…for a minor deity.” Before I could react, he vanished and I gagged as a palm strike caved in my stomach and sent a shockwave rippling outwards from behind me.
Despite the fact that I did not possess any organs or bones, it still felt as my entire organ and skeletal systems were eradicated beyond belief, the sheer force of it threatening to tear me apart.
“KAIO-KEN TIMES TWENTY!” Yet, I didn't fall as the red aura around me exploded and I grabbed his arm with my left hand before he hissed as my head shot forward and I bit down on his shoulder.
Digging my teeth in while delivering heavy blow after heavy blow to his side, Beerus grunted with each punch as my blows shook the air before I grunted as his hand flashed through the air and sliced my head off.
The god growled as he ripped my teeth off and threw me through the air, but I simply regenerated my body while exploding my first body as he was obscured by the burning black flames.
However, I frowned as a deep purple energy ripped through the flames and erased them from existence, Beerus taking a deep breath as his body shone with a rich purple aura that had white sparks rippling through it.
Both of us stared at the other as I grunted, the air silence except for our energies roaring loudly as he vanished and appeared in front of me.
Pushing myself backwards and away as his fist barely missed my jaw, I rushed forward and landed a perfectly timed uppercut to his jaw, the force it being enough to sent him flying upwards right.
Not wasting time, golden streaks of lightning rippled from my ki and I pointed them to the side before pulling my hands back and thrusting them forward.
“Final FLASH!” With a roar, the golden beam of raw unadulterated energy engulfed everything in front of me in a blinding storm of destruction, my Kaio-Ken raging just as loudly as I kept up the blast before dismissing it.
Gasping for air as the dust settled, my energy dimmed as the Kaio-ken aura around me flickered, lightning crackling through the air before I groaned as a figure slowly floated out of the smoke.
His golden eyes stared at me as he floated closer, dusting off his shoulder and placing a hand against the bleeding wound on his chest before to my shock…he smiled.
“I was expecting you to have died by now, but you are continuing to impress me, brat.”
“One thing you'll need to learn about me…is that I don't go down easy.” I spoke with a smile while the Kaio-ken aura around me roared back to life and his smile widened before he nodded.
“Then show me how far your tenacity can take you.” The moment he finished speaking, a knee made me fold in half as I felt my entire body being destroyed.
The sheer force sent me flying down, rupturing the ground and sending deep canyons outwards from the impact point like a shattered mirror as I felt my vision spinning.
However, I did not stay down and shot out from the ground with a roar, swinging a left hook that he leaned back from before stopping my attack midway and bringing my elbow back to his temple.
He ducked under it at the last second only for my knee to come around and crash into the side of his head, but he did not seem phased as he simply spun with the attack and moved backwards as I charged at him.
The Kaio-Ken aura around my body turned my arms and fists into streaks of red light, each attack carrying enough force to crater entire cities yet none connected as Beerus weaved through each attack effortlessly.
“This is more like it! Give me more!” Beerus growled as he blocked a left jab, pushing it away and lashing out with his own left cross that I moved to the side while landing a vicious right uppercut to his arm.
Yet, that attack only made his smile widen and I gritted my teeth as he grabbed my arm before swinging his free hand down, slicing right through it even as I spun through the air and landed a powerful spin kick that made him corkscrew through the air.
Instead of following up with another kick, I faked a punch to his side that made him go to block it only for an Instant Transmission to make me vanish and appear behind him, my entire body already in motion as he turned around just in time just in time to catch a devastating roundhouse.
The attack connected, launching him through the air like a purple and gold ragdoll as a Kai-Kai pulled me away and carried me high above him.
“Kaio-Ken x50!” My aura exploded and this time, I felt my entire body burning and shattering as I forced it beyond its limits, but I didn't stop.
No, I couldn't stop.
Lifting my left index finger up while pulling on the ki of the entire planet around me, a sparking blue sphere rippling with scarlet energy gathered above my raised finger before hundreds of smaller orange orbs.
Bathing the sky with its orange light, Beerus reoriented as I pulled my arm back and for the first time, I saw shock on the god's face as I swung my arm forward with a roar.
“SPIRIT NOVA!” The Spirit Bomb and Supernova fusion flew down at a breakneck pace, my own battle cry completely inaudible over the roars of the attack as the entire landscape was swallowed by golden flames.
The shockwaves alone had the planet trembling and I gritted my teeth as I raised my other hand right as I detonated the attack, capturing and compressing the explosion with a distortion that had fractures lining the space itself.
Debris was sent flying from the sheer pressure of the attack and my regeneration was being pushed even more as I forced my mind, body and soul to not break down, the attack slowly dying down inside before I gasped in relief as I let the spell go.
For a moment, nothing but raw destruction and energy rained down upon the landscape, burning and destroying everything in its path and turning the desolate land into an image of hell itself before my eyes widened as a figure walked through the flames.
No longer having a smile on his face, Beerus' body was layered with shallow cuts and light burns as only his pants had survived the explosion, the god looking up at me with not an amused nor a mocking stare.
No, I found myself staring into the serious gaze of the God of Destruction himself as a malevolent violet aura with a pitch black flaming outline surrounded his body.
“Interesting. You have managed to make me feel pain, something I have not experienced in eons.” As he spoke, there was this ethereal and otherworldly sensation that crawled up my spin, as if I was finally speaking to a god as his eyes locked onto mine.
“However, that trick cost you this fight.” One moment, he was still standing in front of me.
The next, a palm strike to my chest thrown at lightspeed had me gasping for me.
The next, a kick to my back made me open for a punch to the jaw that left me open for an elbow to the ribs and soon, a storm of blows thrown at lightspeed had me seeing nothing but violet light as my body was ragdolling through the air like his punching bag.
It felt like it was weeks before the final blow came, the god appearing above me with a fist pulled back before he punched forward and slammed into my stomach with the force of a star exploding.
The attack had enough force to not only sent me hurtling through the air, but I was sent crashing through mountains and skipping across oceans before I gasped as a force grabbed me through the air, my regeneration struggling to heal my many wounds as Whis slowly lowered me.
“You should stay down, brat. This battle is over.” Beerus spoke as he landed on the ground, the angel having teleported halfway across the planet to stop my impromptu flight and I couldn't help my chuckle as I slowly stood up.
Staggering and stumbling around while taking deep, shaky breaths, Whis raised an eyebrow as I gave him a thankful nod before looking back at Beerus, who frowned as I grinned and clenched my fists.
“Not…Not yet.” Red sparks crackled around my body and my legs trembled as I walked forward, Beerus eyes narrowing as I drew closer one step at a time.
“Despite the fact that you are now Majin Buu, my blows were laced with my Energy of Destruction so your soul is barely holding itself together. Any more and you will break apart.”
“Heh~ Then I'll just put myself back together.” Pulling on the memories of my training under Pybara together while also pulling on the numerous spells of the Kais, I grinned as I surged my energy before letting out a primal roar that sent a pillar of violet energy up into the sky.
“Kaio-ken…X100!!!” Reality itself cried as the ground under us collapsed and erupted, magma sent flying everywhere and the skies darkening with potent lightning as the heavens themselves roared at my rage.
Taking a shaky breath while looking back down at Beerus, the god's serious look had vanished and was replaced by a look of…astonishment?
No, the god was impressed. For the first time since our battle began, Beerus looked impressed as he smirked.
“You are truly a fascinating deity, Majin Buu. Or is your name Cell?” He asked and I chuckled as I got a stupid idea that sounded so much like something Toriyama would do.
“My name…is Majin Cuu!” I exclaimed and he rose an eyebrow while Whis giggled before Beerus nodded.
“Very well, Majin Cuu. Allow me to respond to your power in kind.” He spoke and I readied myself before the god appeared in front of me with a simple step and his open palm placed against my forehead.
Before I could prepare myself, a shockwave shot from his hand and my eyes widened as my limbs went limp before darkness covered my vision.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My eyes widened as I flew upwards, sitting upright and gasping for air before I hissed as I felt my body burning with pain in places I did not know I have.
“You have earned my respect, deity.” Beerus' voice spoke up from my side and I slowly turned to see Beerus now fully healed and with a new outfit on as Whis stood besides him.
I could barely move a muscle as I fell backwards, grunting at the pain as the Kaio-Ken had completely burned me out completely.
“Guess that means…I lost, huh?”
“I would count it as a draw, somewhat, but you are most definitely the first mortal to stand against me like that without a transformation.
“N-Never needed one.” I spoke with a chuckle that made me wince at the pain in my chest and Beerus looked at me before nodding.
“You are most definitely not only my level yet, but one of these days…you just might get there.” With those final words, Whis' energy surged and I was in awe at the sheer vastness of his energy as Beerus turned, placing a hand on the angel's back before taking once last glance at me.
“And next time…” Whis' ki surrounded them with a kaleidoscope of energy and as they were surrounded with a sphere of ki, the god gave me a wide, fanged grin and some final words before they shot up into the air.
“I expect you to be an even better fight, Majin Cuu.” Watching as they flew away, I groaned as I laid back down, letting my energy heal up my body as I looked up at the blue sky.
'I'm never doing X100 ever again.' Even with the physiology of Buu and Cell's regeneration, my cells were still put immense stress as my ki and body did its best to restore itself.
However, I was not left alone for long as numerous ki signatures appeared around me, Goku kneeling down with an excited smile as I looked at him with a sigh.
“What are you all here for? Finally going to try and kill me?”
“And risk you going out with an explosion? We're not stupid.” Krillin spoke with a smirk and I rolled my eyes before blinking as something flew into my mouth, biting down on it while staring at Goku as I felt my body instantly restoring itself to perfect condition.
“Did you seriously give a Senzu Bean to a guy that could kill you?”
“If you wanted to kill us, you would have just aimed that Final Flash at the ground or you wouldn't have kept that Spirit Nova move of yours sealed up. Speaking of that move, was that inspired by the Spirit Bomb?” He asked with a smile and I rolled my eyes as I kip-upped onto my feet before stretching my arms behind me.
“That along with Frieza's Supernova. It's quite the effective attack when one ignores the pure energy trying to burn my corrupt soul away.”
“Eh, I'd say your soul isn't that evil otherwise the energy would have erased you entirely.” Goku spoke with a wave of his hand and I rolled my eyes before smirking as Yamcha spoke up.
“So…you guys just fought a god…and you two became gods?”
“Temporarily.” I added and both the Saiyans frowned as Piccolo raised an eyebrow.
“Explain.”
“Would it hurt you to say please?” I asked and smirked as he simply narrowed his eyes while Gohan spoke up.
“Please explain, Mr. Cell.”
“It's Majin Cuu, now actually. Anyway, back to Piccolo's explanation, I only gave you both a finite amount of god ki to give you guys the transformation, but your bodies will soon start craving that power so all you need to do is continuously bathe in god ki and you should start making it on your own.”
“And where will we bathe in it?” Vegeta asked, his frown having some signs of interest in it as I smirked and created a sphere of god ki in my hand.
“If you want, we could go to the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and I can bathe you all in it one by one. You two along with Gohan and Piccolo should be able to handle, but you three though…” I trailed off as I looked at the three humans only to blink as Yamcha snorted while the other two shook their heads.
“Eh, I'm fine with how strong I am.” Yamcha spoke up with a shake of his head and Krillin nodded.
“Same here. Besides, if I get any stronger, #18's going to make me train with her again and I don't wanna fight her. She gets way too serious way too fast.”
“I have my students to think of and I assume this god ki would make it hard for them to be around me so I must decline as well.” Tien spoke and I nodded before turning to Piccolo as he spoke up.
“How painful will this be?”
“Oh, not at all. In fact, it will be quite pleasant.”
“Wait, that was not the case with us.” Vegeta spoke with a frown, Goku nodding in agreement before the Saiyan prince gritted his teeth as I gave him an innocent smile.
“Oh, that was just one final payback for all that torment all those years ago. Now, we're even.”
“Urgh, should have known you'd hold a grudge. Wait, I gotta ask, though. How did you push Kaio-Ken to fifty let alone one hundred?”
“Oh, that was because of a mixture of my unique body and my intense training on Yardrat. I don't have any bones or organs so my regeneration only needs to work on keeping my muscles and cells together while my training on Yardrat helped me figure out how to channel my ki effectively and keep my body from breaking down.”
“Oh! So that's how. I should have known since I did see you there last.” Goku spoke with a sheepish smile and I rolled my eyes before looking to Vegeta as he spoke up with narrowed eyes.
“I had considered Yardrat to be a waste of time considering this buffoon managed to learn them, but perhaps I may have been mistaken.”
“Ooh~ What else did you learn on Yardrat?!” Goku asked and I smirked as I saw the Saiyan hopping in excitement.
“Goku, I can feel you wanting to fight me, but after Beerus, Demigra and Mechikabura, you are far too weak to keep up with me, especially since I still have Saiyan blood and got a Zenkai Boost after each battle.”
“…Who and who?” Goku asked with a blink of his eyes and I hummed as I thought of how to explain this.
“Ah, right. You guys don't know them. Basically, they're both demon gods of time that have been alive since the concept of Time began. Also, I absorbed them both and I now possess their power, which should tell you just how powerful Beerus truly is.”
“… What the hell have you been up to since we last saw you?” Krillin asked with wide eyes and I chuckled as I lifted my fingers.
“Fought against both Demon Gods in the Demon Realm and faced off against against the new Frieza Force army that was lead by Frieza's older brother Cooler. However, he was also possessed by a Tuffle parasite called Baby who possessed the memories of the Tuffle King that was killed off by the Saiyan race when they conquered Planet Vegeta. Oh, I also took over the new Cooler Force that was the previous Frieza Force and named it the Imperial Empire, a force of good that's doing its best to restore the universe. What have you guys been up to?” I asked with a happy smile and watched as the Saiyans just blinked while Yamcha fainted with wide eyes.
Uh, that might have been a bit too much.
A/N: And we end off the Battle of Gods arc with Beerus and Cuu ending their battle in a loss/ draw (As Cuu takes it). He is also now on slightly friendlier terms with the Z-Fighters and are now going to make them all into gods.
Will that go well? Who knows? Let's find out next time.
As always, read, enjoy, review and until the next one…
Ba-Bye~!!
