“I am they who fought the storm…Is that supposed to mean something?” I asked as I spun Gram loosely in my grasp while slowly walking around in a wide circle, Creuserey following my movements with a chuckle as the purple miasma began to wrap around his body like armour.

“Oh, definitely. However, you will not figure out what until my teeth are biting away at your throat.”

“I don't swing that way, so you might want to try someone else. I think Rizevim might be interested.” I spoke with an amused smirk before quickly leaning back as a swipe from his clawed fingers barely missed my throat, smirking up at the growling Creuserey right before sparks of electricity condensed around my body while a shroud of wind coated my limbs.

The next moment, I was gone with an azure flash as I reappeared behind the Satan descendant, Creuserey quickly spinning around & unleashing a blast of miasma just as I swung Gram at his neck.

Unfortunately for him, there was a reason that Gram was the strongest blade as it easily carved through the poisonous shield with ease, a frown appearing on my face as I watched the blade separate his head from his body like it was nothing.

Quickly leaping away just in case it was a trick, my frown deepened as the headless corpse fell to the ground while dark purple blood gathered below him, Storm God's Aura dimming slightly as I focused Electroception & Air Current Sense on him.

'No sign of life at all. It was really that easy? No, there must be something.' Sheathing Gram, demonic energy flooded the blade as dense yellow lightning gathered at its edge, my body slowly moving into an iaido stance as Storm God's Aura sparked to life once more.

“One-Sword Iaido Style: Demonic Resonance.” Within the blink of an eye, I lunged at a blistering pace towards the corpse & head while gripping Gram tightly, waiting until the last moment before unsheathing the moment with all of my might.

“Should have known that wouldn't work on you.” The decapitated head spoke with a grin as the corpse flipped around while kicking it away, to which I simply smirked as I came to a standstill with Gram held to the side.

“You didn't dodge fast enough.” I spoke with a smirk as the lightning around Gram slowly vanished, the head simply frowning as his body fell forwards while his legs were still standing upright.

Quickly spinning around, I rushed towards the head with Gram held high, but it appears that my foe had more tricks up his sleeve as blood shot from its wound & sent it rolling through the sky, my eyes widening as I quickly spun around & blocked two Creuserey from barely kicking my skull in.

Parrying & pushing both away, I leapt back as the two clones landed, looking around to see the legless corpse already regrowing its head & legs while the decapitated head was already busy with restoring its own legs.

“Oh great, you're that kind of fighter.” I muttered as I watched the four Creuserey clones gathering around me in a square formation, taking a deep breath while sheathing Gram as I nodded & fuelled my entire body with demonic energy.

A tense silence hung in the air as I stood crouched over with a tight grip on Gram's hilt, the four clones standing still despite the menacing grins on their faces as they all slowly lowered to crouch on all fours.

Within the blink of an eye, the first clone's head was sent flying as he tried to lunge at me from the side, Gram already sheathed as I spun around & faced the second one as he tried to sneak attack me.

With a flourish, the clone was cut cleanly in half with the wound cauterized thanks to the lightning covering Gram as I spun around & unleashed a circular blast of lightning in all directions just as the last two tried to lunge at me.

'So even carbonizing the cells don't work, huh? Guess there's that plan out the window.' I frowned as I watched the two halves of the second clone already reforming into two more clones, quickly looking over at the first clone I attacked & humming softly as I saw it also regrowing back into two clones.

Wanting to test a few theories, I spun & blitzed towards the second clone I attacked, watching as they spun around in shock before I skidded past them with Gram back in its sheathe.

Leaving the clones as they both slowly fell to the floor in pieces, the world was a blur around me as I dashed in between the two clones that were created from the first one, their eyes wide as I reached out & grabbed both of them by the jaws.

The next moment, bright blue lightning obscured the three of us as I unleashed a full-powered spell into their faces, quickly unfurling my wings & rocketing up just as the last two clones tried to get me.

'The ones I diced up regenerated into four clones instead of just two, but the ones I simply attacked with a spell didn't regenerate at all. Heh, I see.' An amused smirk appeared on my face as I reached out to the side, taking a deep breath before all eight clones looked up at me as the first chant escaped my lips.

“I, who is about to awaken,.” The world around us rippled as my True Voice escaped my lips, all eight clones growling before I frowned as the eight of them looked at each other & nodded.

“Am the Unholy Wolf who has devoured the Treasures of The Morning Star.” I continued to chant as I watched the eight clones leaping at each other, my eyes widening slightly as I watched them all fuse into one bulging ball of flesh.

“Having stolen over a Thousand Treasures, these hands know not the Beginning nor the End.” The ball of Creuserey bulged & pulsated as it began to roughly take the shape of a four-legged dragon, a pair of thin wings slowly forming while eight serpentine necks grew from its shoulders.

'Yep, knew it was you the moment you stopped at eight clones instead of making more.'

“Let all bare witness to the one known as the Nephilim.” Dark violet scales covered the eight-headed dragon's body as sixteen scarlet eyes glared up at me, a manic grin forming on each head's face as my own grin widened to match theirs.

“So, as I pray,” My power exploded to envelop both of us in an azure sphere of energy, numerous Azathoth crests layering all over the sphere while I grinned at the confused look in Yamata no Orochi's eyes as Gram roared with glee.

“May The Void have mercy on your soul.” With my final chant, both of us were dyed in a bright white light as space & time around us warped continuously, the feeling only subsiding after a few seconds only for Orochi's eyes to widen as our surroundings had changed.

“Abyss Break: Blacksmith's Playground.” I finished with a smirk as I landed on the ground, hundreds upon thousands of blades stabbed into the ground as far as the eye can see while cracked gears hung in the sky above us.

“Now then, let's dance.” With those final words, I didn't waste any time as I unsheathed Gram and rushed towards Orochi, the nearest sword shooting from the ground & sinking into Gram before a fire-red aura covered it.

“Zanka no Tachi.” With a chant, I leapt into the air before swinging Gram downwards with all my might, the sky itself warping as an invisible wave of heat crashed down onto Orochi's body.

However, the heat was more than the dragon could handle as all eight heads let out a loud shriek, a charred & jagged scar running down its spine before one of the heads glared up at me.

“Venomous Rage!!” The head chanted as it opened its maw, the others following suit before a hurricane of mist enveloped me from all sides.

“MiNazUki.” The chant sounded raspy as I watched the flesh melting from my bones, a grin appearing on my face as another sword shot up & sunk into Gram before its fire-red aura shifted into a light green.

Immediately, a cackle escaped my lips as my body swiftly regenerated with ease, my head snapping down to face the surprised Orochi as I leapt through the hurricane & appeared in front of him in the blink of an eye.

“Minazuki: Shift!” I chanted as I stabbed Gram hilt deep into Orochi's back, the light green aura shifting to a blood red before Orochi screeched as copious amount of acidic blood poured from the blade & into its body.

“Venomous Rampage!” Orochi shrieked and poisonous gas erupted from his wound, to which I clicked my tongue as Gram's aura shifted back to light green while I leapt away.

“Senbonzakura Kageyoshi.” I chanted as a third sword out from under me & sunk into Gram, the demonic blade itself covered in a cherry blossom pink before I dropped it to the ground.

Instead of stabbing into the ground, I smirked at Orochi's confusion as the blade itself sunk into the ground only for its eyes to widen as hundreds of giant Gram slowly sprouted from the ground all around us.

“Shatter.” With one simple word, the swords all cracked before shattering into numerous tiny shards, a light pink glow emanating from each other before I flicked my hand at Orochi just as it opened its maw to attack.

The next moment, its eyes widened as four of its head slowly fell to the ground, not caring for its pained roars as I waved my hand through the air like a conductor, the storm of blades surrounding Orochi from all sides before his cries were cut silent as hundreds of thousands of tiny blades stabbed into his body from all sides.

Holding out my right hand, a cherry blossom pink glow surrounded it before Gram reformed in my grasp, a sword already flying towards me as it sunk into the demonic sword before a silver glow surrounded it.

Crouching as I pointed the tip of Gram at Orochi's chest while resting the flat side of it on my fingertips, the world grew still as I pulled Gram back before thrusting it through the air as fast as I could.

 “Kamishiri no Yari.” The next moment, its body was erased from existence as its eight heads rested on the flat side of a giant scarlet Gram, its expression frozen in horror as I smirked before they were all obscured by flames erupting from the demonic blade.

“Shatter.” I chanted as Gram shrunk back to its regular form, the wasteland around us cracking before it shattered to reveal us back in Dimension Lost's Kyoto.

“Hah, thank you for being the first test subject for my Balance Breaker.” I spoke with a smirk as I sheathed Gram while staring at the scorched outline on the ground where Orochi's body last stood, cracking my neck before frowning as I turned in the direction where I had last felt Issei & Saji. '

Good, they're still okay.' Relief flushed through my body as I saw the two of them still standing, though that wouldn't be long as I watched Cao Cao tapping the True Longinus against his shoulder.

“Okay, I guess my work for the day is not done ye-!”

“Huh, I guess even Orochi wasn't a match for you.” I froze as I heard an amused voice speaking directly behind him, my body already subconsciously moving as Storm God's Aura roared to life while Gram was slicing through the air.

However, my eyes widened as I felt a cold sensation in my chest, slowly looking down to see a bloody hole in my chest while Gram was already put in its sheath & my prosthetic arm completely eradicated.

“Not bad there, little bat. I was aiming to kill, but you just barely managed to dodge it.” I slowly looked back up before my eyes widened at the amused eyes looking back at me, the left eye a pitch black void while the right was a golden sun shining with power.

Crom Cruach just looked amused at my shock as he reached into his breast pocket before pulling out a slice of peach from his pocket, breaking off a piece before crushing it & dribbling the juice on the ground.

'W-What…' I was stunned silent as I watched Creuserey's body regrowing from the scorch mark on the floor, trying to move to stop him only for my body to fall forward as I felt nothing but a distressing cold in my body.

“All right. You learned from your mistakes, right?”

“Y-Yeah, won't make the same one again.” I heard Creuserey's voice before slowly blinking as I felt something picking me up by the back of my neck, coming face to face with a pair of scarlet eyes that burned with rage before a bloody cough ripped from my lips as pain exploded in my side.

“Oi, we need the idiot alive. Remember Rizevim's orders.” I barely managed to make out Crom Cruach's words before I blinked as I felt a sense of weightlessness all over my body, slowly looking up to see clouds rushing past my vision.

 The next moment, I couldn't even grunt from the pain as I was sent ragdolling through solid dirt, only coming to a standstill a few moments later while staring up at the sky.

 “I thought you would be done by now, Cao Cao.” Those were the last things I heard before the pain got too much and I felt my consciousness sinking away.

 A/N: And there we go: Isaiah's victory followed by his swift defeat. 

For those wondering, his Abyss Break was just part of it as he still has something else in the background. 

However, what that is will have to wait for later as we tune back to Kyoto next chapter. 

Also, another short chapter, but that's because I wanted to just end off this part that everyone was wondering about before I continue on with the story next chapter.
