'It's been a week since Loki's attack.' I thought with a hum as I stood in my office at the ASC's headquarters, looking out at the city laid below me while my mind was a storm as I thought about the events of the past few months.

First, the Khaos Brigade and its subsections were stronger than they were in the canon universe, which removes almost every bit of intel I had about them from the series.

Then, I found out that the reincarnation of Merlin was with them, which meant that there were probably other beings inside the Khaos Brigade that was unique to this world.

Then, I find out that the gods of the other pantheons of this world is just as egotistical as I expected, which meant that we would not be receiving as much help to fight them all as I thought.

'At least Zeus & Odin are more reasonable than their myths made them out to be. Although I didn't expect Hades to be the one who tries to kill me, but I suppose if I was in his boots, I might have done something similar.'

“And here is the last of your paperwork for the day.” I tuned out of my internal monologue & turned around as I heard Kuroka speak while entering the room, watching the stack of paperwork she placed on my desk with a grunt before I heard her giggle as I sighed and sat back down on my chair.

“Stressed?” She asked as she walked around my desk to stand behind my chair, a groan escaping my lips as she began to massage my shoulders

“Yeah, I thought I could relax for once, but with the news from Lord Lucifer of how the Evil Dragons might be coming back, it appears that our battle has simply begun.”

“Yeah, we may have stopped their first strikes against us, but that does not mean we have won the war. What does Lord Lucifer say about your plan?” She asked and I sighed as I looked down at the map in front of me.

“He says that it's possible, but in order to do so, I'd have to go in person since she wouldn't trust any devil that isn't me just like that.”

“Maybe I could come with?” Kuroka asked with a hopeful smile as she looked at me from above, to which I simply raised an eyebrow & smirked.

“Then who is going to keep the peace in our little family?”

“Tsubaki & Akeno are there to do that. Besides, I'm a former youkai so that must account for something, right?”

“Well, that is true, but unfortunately, you should have said so sooner. I already asked someone else to help be my liaison.”

“Wukong.” I answered, chuckling as she gave a disgruntled glare & huffed.

“Fine, but next time you go to Kyoto, I'm coming with.”

“Of course, though it is a good thing you girls are not coming with. I don't think you would have gotten any of my attention with Serafall tagging along.”

“Wait, why is she tagging along?”

“She is our Minister of Foreign Affairs. It would have been weirder if she didn't.” I answered and she grumbled while I rolled my eyes as she fell into my lap.

“You know, you don't have to fake wanting to sit on my lap, right?”

“Then, it wouldn't be fun anymore.” She spoke with a smile and I smirked as I pulled the lever on the side of my chair, making her yelp as the back of my chair fell back while a footrest shot out from below me to form a makeshift bed.

“Ooh. What are we going to do now?” She asked with a smirk as she spun to straddle me and my answer was a simple eyebrow raise as I reached down & grabbed a handful of her bountiful ass in both hands, a throaty moan escaping her lips as sparks of electricity raced off of my hands & up her spine.

“We have about thirty minutes before the other girls come for the afternoon. Do with that information what you must.” I answered and she giggled as she reached up to her shirt & unbuttoned it slowly, her mouth-watering boobs barely held back by the creamy white bra she had on.

“Oh, you can bet that I'm not letting this opportunity go to waste.”

“I swear, the next time you four want to fornicate in your office, Lord Isaiah, at least try to activate your security runes.” Valerie grumbled from where she was lying face first in the couch, Issei, Saji, Bardou & Samson snickering as Isaiah gave a sheepish chuckle and nodded.

“Right. I'll make sure to do that, Val. If they give me an opportunity to do that.” He muttered under his breath while mock glaring at his girlfriends, who were all giggling from where they were seated on a sofa while Meredith was too busy reading a book to worry about what her 'family' was doing.

“That is all I ask. I've had to wipe more memories of you four having intimate relations than I had to of people finding out about the supernatural world because of us. Although, I have to admit that I have a newfound respect for you, Lady Tsubaki. I did not know you could suckle on his testicles while almost bent over to the point that you could lick your own vagina.”

“Wait, what?” Issei asked with wide eyes, the other guys just as shocked as a bright red Tsubaki simply stuttered while Kuroka & Akeno cackled.

“Val, please try not to say anything about what you saw.”

“Oh, I intend to. I simply wished to give my respect to Lady Tsubaki.”

“P-P-Please don't.” Tsubaki squeaked and Valerie gave a sly giggle as she nodded.

“Of course. Now, I have some reading to do so that I can forget the sight of Lord Isaiah's bare bottom.”

“You do that, Val.” Isaiah spoke with a sigh, shaking his head before looking at the group of guys that were still stunned.

“Oi, idiots. Did your brains malfunction or what?”

“N-No, Boss. So…how the hell do you & Tsubaki do the upside down doggy thing?” Issei asked and Isaiah groaned as he turned and walked out of the way, Issei quickly following after him with a grin while Saji & Samson were not too far behind.

“Come on, boss! Give us the secret.”

“Why? Are you & Asia finally at the kissing phase?” Isaiah asked while looking back at his pawn, chuckling to see Issei blushing while looking away.

“W-Well, not really. I mean, we did…kiss once, but that was a complete accident.”

“At least it's something. I'm still waiting for the day this idiot gets a girl.” Isaiah said while pointing with his thumb at Saji, who looked offended as he scoffed while crossing his arms.

“What the hell is that supposed to mean?”

“Exactly what it did. I have my girlfriends, Sairaorg is about to ask Son & Seek out since his dad & Zekram isn't here to trouble him anymore, Alivian & Rias have this weird hesitant relationship, Issei & Asia are kind of in a relationship no matter how much they try to deny it and even Samson beat you to one."

“W-Wait, what? How did this become about me? Also, I'm not in a relationship.”

“Next time you & Meredith want to have a quickie, make sure she uses some sound-redirection runes to keep it inside of your room instead of sound-nullification runes. The latter doesn't work as I made sure no part of the house could be soundproof in case of an invasion.” Isaiah answered with a smirk, to which Samson gave a sigh as he nodded before looking a bit nervous.

“You're not mad…right?”

“Well, I'm a bit disappointed you guys didn't let us know you two were going out, but we also understand that you two feel that it's a bit wrong for someone of your age to be dating someone of her age. Although, I have to admit that your worries from your human side means that you're taking both of your feelings into account which means that I can rest assured knowing that you actually care for her.”

“Thank you, Lord Isaiah.” Samson spoke with a happy smile and a bow, Isaiah chuckling as he nodded before reaching out and grabbing Saji by the collar as he tried to sneak away.

“Where do you think you're going? Issei, prep your room. It's time to find out just who this idiot has been seeing.”

“Hehe, sure thing, boss. We'll have him squealing in no time.”

“W-Wait, wait! S-Sam, buddy! Help, please!” Saji pleaded with Samson as Isaiah began to drag him to Issei's room, to which Samson gave a chuckle as he shrugged.

“Truthfully, I want to know too.”

“Traitors, the lot of ya! Fine, try your best, but you'll never make me talk!” Saji exclaimed, to which Isaiah simply cackled as they continued talking.

“Heh, keep up that mentality. It's just making this more fun for me.”

“Seriously?” Isaiah asked with a raised eyebrow, a bit surprised & amused at Saji's crush while both Samson & Issei were completely shocked.

“Y-Yeah, I have a crush on her. She's cute and nice and really fun to be around.”

“Are you sure we're talking about Xenovia here? It might not just be someone that you mistook for her, right?” Isaiah asked with a raised eyebrow, chuckling as Saji gave him a disgruntled stare.

“Had to make sure. Although, I have to admit that it is a bit of a surprise. I expected you to have a crush on someone from Rias' or Sona's peerage, like Koneko or Ruruko or Momo or something.”

“Eh, they don't really do it for me.” Saji answered bluntly with a shrug, making Isaiah snort before they both turned as Issei spoke.

“I guess opposites do attract, huh?”

“That's true. They're so apart in personality that the kid is probably going to be a chaotic smartass.” Samson agreed with a nod, making Saji groan as Isaiah chuckled and nodded.

“Ah, all I can say is I hope you don't mess up your chance to get with her.”

“You're talking a lot of crap for a guy who couldn't propose, boss.” Saji said with a sly smirk, Isaiah rolling his eyes as the other two grinned.

“There's a big difference between asking a girl out and proposing marriage to her.” The King answered with a shrug, to which Saji snorted as Issei snickered.

“So even the boss has some things that he's scared of, huh?”

“I don't want to hear anything from your, Mr. I'm-too-scared-to-ask-her-out.” Isaiah spoke with a smirk, Issei groaning while Samson smirked.

“It's okay, boys. With our shared brotherhood, we shall help each other in our love troubles! First, we shall help Lord Isaiah propose to his ladies!” Samson exclaimed and Isaiah quickly reached over to muffle him, looking around frantically before glaring at the nervous Samson.

“Quiet voice!” He whispered/ hissed, to which Samson nodded frantically before letting out a relieved sigh as Isaiah moved his hand away.

“While Samson is hasty, he is also telling the truth. Your problem is the most urgent right now, so that's what we're focusing on.”

“So, who are you proposing to first, boss?” Issei asked and Isaiah gave him a raised eyebrow as if stating what a ridiculous question that was.

“Akeno. She's my first girlfriend, the one who I shared everything with.”

“Cool! I'll bring her to the garden behind the castle! In the meantime, Val & Meredith along with you three help Lord Isaiah make the venue.” Bardou barked as he opened the door, Isaiah simply watching as his familiar rushed down the stairs as an amused Valerie & a grinning Meredith walked into his room.

“Does no one understand the concept of 'boys time' in this castle?”

“To be fair, you were the one who took away privacy when you made those runic fields.” Saji spoke, to which Isaiah sighed as everyone nodded.

“Hah, I did do that. Anyway, come on, my peerage! We have a venue to make!”

“Come on, Mistress! Master told me to get you urgently!” Bardou barked as he ran towards the back of the castle, Akeno rushing after him with a concerned frown.

“I-I know, but why did Kuroka & Tsubaki have to stay behind? Their help would have been needed.”

“I don't know! Master just told me to get you!” Bardou spoke as he ran around the side of their home, to which Akeno was a bit confused before her eyes widened in awe as she finally caught sight of the castle's back garden.

Standing under the dark oak gazebo in the middle of the midnight blue roses of House Azathoth, Isaiah was waiting for her with a soft smile, his hands held behind his back as rose petals swirled in the air around him.

“Hey, why do you look so panicked?” He asked as she rushed towards him, a bit confused as Akeno rushed forward and looked him over before sighing as he looked at Bardou.

“You told her I needed help, didn't you?”

“You said that you needed her here urgently. I made sure she came urgent.” Bardou answered, making Isaiah roll his eyes before reaching down & making the concerned Akeno look up at him.

“I'm okay. I just wanted to talk to you, alone.” He said while giving a pointed stare at Bardou, who nodded as he quickly ran away while Akeno frowned as she watched him leave.

“O-Okay, so what did you need?”

“Do you remember the first time you & I went on a date?” Isaiah asked as he looked out at the rose field, Akeno raising an eyebrow in confusion while answering.

“Considering that was also the night we both lost our virginities, how could I forget?” She said with a smile and I chuckled as I nodded.

“Yes, but what did I tell you while we were dancing?”

“'I really wish we could stay like this forever. Just you and me…'”

“Dancing in peace for eternity.” I finished with a smile, a soft smile appearing on her face as I held out my hand before she took it and I pulled her closer, my hands on her hips as I looked down into her eyes.

“You don't know it, but at that time, I actually meant those. I wanted to be with you forever, now more than ever.”

“You didn't think you would get rid of me, did you?” Akeno asked with an amused smirk, making Isaiah chuckle as he shook his head.

“Oh, not at all. I knew that if I thought of doing so for even a moment, my body would not be found.”

“Oh, it would. You just wouldn't be recognizable.” She admitted with a shrug and Isaiah rolled his eyes.

“Of course, it wouldn't. However, what I want to say is that when I said those words, it was when I found out I was truly in love with you.”

“It was that same night that I discovered that I was in love with you too.” She whispered as she laid a soft kiss on his lips, making Isaiah chuckle as he slowly pulled back before confusing Akeno as he pushed her back softly while clearing his throat.

Her eyes then widened & a gasp escaped her lips as he smiled & knelt down on one knee, an azure flash appearing on his hands before it disappeared to reveal an open jewellery box with a ring inside it.

The ring was made from rhodium, the head of it styled into rose petals that had leaves reaching down its side with beautiful sapphires embedded in between the leaves as accent stones.

However, what took her breath away was the centre stone that also acted as a rose, the usual light blue diamond a deep azure that shone in the purple sun as Isaiah smiled at her.

“Through thick & thin, you stood besides me no matter how much society tried to take me away from you and for that, I could only think of one thing to show how much I appreciate that. Akeno Himejima, will you-!”

“Yes!” She exclaimed, surprising Isaiah and yet, he had to make sure as he watched a beautiful smile appear on her face.

“Yes?” He asked as he took out the ring, Akeno nodding while slightly teary-eyed as she nodded.

“Yes, without a doubt. Yes.” She said and he felt his heart soar as he took out the ring and slowly slid it onto her ring finger, his anxiety fading away as excitement & joy took its place.

Before she could say anything, Isaiah stood up and captured her lips in a deep kiss, feeling the world around him fading away as he grabbed her hips and pulled her closer.

'I know I've said this so many times, but this time, I truly mean it. Whatever divine being put me here, thank you so much.'

A/N: And that's another short chapter! I wanted to just jump into the next arc, but I decided to let there be a rest time before we do that.

Next arc, though, is going to be another two arcs in one.

I don't know if it's going to be next chapter, but just know that it's like the Egypt-Wizards arc.
