They were writing and creating what is now TTPD durning the thick of those emotions in between shows.

But I think she's releasing it because otherwise it's very likely it will leak so she might as well get paid for it. It's not like people who have tour tickets will not go anymore because they see the movie...so kinda pleasing more fans who missed out on tickets I think

2023-09-28 06:51:44 +0000 UTCMy apologies if anyone has said this but I think it’s important to point out that part of why Taylor went so hard with some of these more “angry” and offensive song choices in Tampa is because of the state of things in Florida with the governor right now and especially at the time of the show. There was massive amounts of picketing going on outside the shows against Taylor Swift because of the whole “Don’t Say Gay” bill and that whole dumpster fire happening in Florida which Taylor was quite vocal in speaking up against (I believe she even made special mention of it or added some extra sass during You Need to Calm Down to try to support everyone who was fighting against the massive oppressive opposition in Florida). Many believe that her reason for choosing songs like The Great War, YOYOK, Mad Woman & Mean for Tampa was in response to all this chaotic political turmoil in Florida and to keep encouraging her fans (especially the LGBTQ+ community and their allies) to keep fighting the good fight and that she was fighting alongside them. Sorry, I know that’s a perspective that not a lot of people outside of the US would be aware of (and honestly there’s even some people in the US that aren’t fully aware of the absolute crap going on in Florida at this time and to this day). Hope this perspective helps soften the blow of such massive losses. Taylor did it for the greater good ;)

I understand that he has greatly influenced her, (Bleachers and just Jack's synth pop and soulful sounds in general) but to me 1989 IS and WAS a Taylor/Max Martin (and Shellback) collab - first and foremost? (I know there are other collaborators too!) Like, I believe when describing 1989 it is said that this albums is THE Taylor's and Max Martin's collab and co-project (obviously it's Taylor's first but you know what I mean, he's the Primary collaborator and the one who works with her on that 'cohesive' aspect and finding her pop voice) I don't know. I just think it's interesting how people say it's a Jack album. I think the Most Jack album is actually Midnights!

Lavender haze and sweet nothing have insights like you don’t ever say to much, all that you ever wanted from me was Nothing > kinda sad elements and give me a sense that he is what she needed those first years and then she outgrew him cause she is bejewelled and should be shining > not dimming for him to keep him.

Treacherous is quite overwhelming if you think about it too much, and there's just something about the two headlights start of the bridge that climbs inside me every single time I hear it. I feel like the hug on the piano bench was long because Taylor just needed some contact with a trusted human. I did a quick scroll through Aaron's old Instagram posts and now just love him more. Supportive of women's rights, a quality family man, a good friend to many, and he uses vocabulary like "ubiquitous", so it's obvious that he and Taylor are on the same wavelength.

In our experience, sometimes the full weight of those feelings can take a little while to come up and process. but of course this is just a guess, we really have no idea and may never know!

2023-09-25 21:33:10 +0000 UTCAs someone who has very similar coloring to Taylor, she is a tiny bit more peachy in skin tone than I am, yellow is a dreadful color. It makes us look sallow. Jewel tones that lean blue are best. It's why she looks so amazing in blue and red. Green can be problematic if it's too yellow so again shade to the blue end of that spectrum. It's also why she looks good in Autumnal colors because she can wear darker golds and oranges.

I just remember feeling so bad that she might be stressed out or feeling a little out of it after the news broke. And I am so grateful she is coming back to FL next year, like getting to see the same tour 18 months apart is truly insane!!
