I love the perspective that she is leaning into with these re-recordings and the artistic choices. She is not simply trying to imitate, she's allowing us to see that time has in fact passed, especially with the prologues. She is yet again making music history and it's so cool to be a part of it as a Swiftie. She puts so much thought into everything and gives us so much.

That she did not own an album with this pictures anymore. Seriously, this got me really bad. All I can think is the sad look in I can see you MV... like mourning everything 😞😞😞 2 - (less emotional) Is just me or the photographer is a lot like Aaron. The voice, the face, the way he talks... all in him remembers Aaron hahahaha

As to the history of the images it goes back to the silent film era. There was a serial called "The Perils Of Pauline". It has since been parodied in cartoon and film throughout American pop culture at least.
