I'm not sure if he's referring to Midnights or the other mv's she directed throughout her life but I don't think he'd make that mistake plus he's already asked about the other mv's she directed so why ask the same question again. And ... 11 mv's to make a visual album would make sense because she's already released two mv's for Bejewelled and AH so there are 11 left for the rest of the album!!! Ok, I've got to be honest with myself ... this is just blind hope ...

But I'm guessing this was shot a while back and at the time she didn't want to give away too much in case this was released too early. In any case, I never really believed this was a visual album. I think there is one more music video for lavender haze and that is it! I am surprised it hasn't been released yet, but I guess it could be due to the Christmas period.

2022-12-20 17:22:27 +0000 UTCThanks for this; I loved it as always! Unfortunately, I think the 11 videos plus one short are what she has already done, not new stuff. Here is my count of actual videos (not concert footage) where she is listed as director or co-director: 1. Mine, 2. ME! 3. You Need to Calm Down 4. Lover 5. The Man 6. Cardigan 7. Willow 8. Anti-Hero 9. Bejeweled. This suggests there may be two more; Lavender Haze and one more. Or the count could be wrong! She is also credited as the director for things like The Best Day, where she used home movies, but I did not count that. And All Too Well is the short, so should not count in the music video list. I hope she does a rom-com, or possibly a romantic drama with some humor. Her humor is really under appreciated; Anti-Hero and The Man in particular are really very funny while also making their points. One thing I like about this whole Taylor-as-director thing is that the actual directors are taking her very seriously; you saw that at TIFF and again here and again with Guillermo delToro's social media. There are a lot of naysayers in the wider world, but the people who work in the industry think she can do it, probably because they know what takes to direct.

Like Joe is such a musician that he’s just almost accidentally found himself working with Taylor on her music. and Taylor finds her self in directing and acting. I just think they must have such interesting conversations around the dinner table, giving each other tips and ideas.

Maybe Bonnie could be in one of her movies. You know she has used youtubers in her videos. I think you would be great. She could use your Paris footage in a video or maybe for her tour. Did you see the double take when she asked him about directing himself and he was surprised to hear her say she would like direct instead of co-directing.
