Does anyone else think the track listing should be different? I feel like after a while it’s just slow song after slow song and the beginning ‘funky sounds’ kind of disappear so it feels disjointed. I prefer it when I listen on shuffle or I choose a song to listen to. Shame as I think the songs themselves are amazing, I’m just typically an album listener so I found it hard to get into.

I think the first part of the album hits better because after Matilda you can't possibly process anymore. It hits so heavy that everything after is hard to feel because you feel so much already. Also, I love the line "tea with cyborgs" because it reminds me of COVID and having tea with friends over Zoom or FaceTime. I also feel like the line "Riot, America," refers to the Black Lives Matter protest that was going on in the states during COVID. The bridge is so genuis.

It's such a superior album. So happy he is donating money from the tour to stop gun violence. Does anyone think any songs are about Taylor? When he says red and delicate in a song I can't help but think of Taylor. But feel that is me just reaching lol

I didn't have any real friends at the time the pandemic hit, so I've been very lonely and still living with my parents who I often times just don't fit in with. Your videos sorta make me feel at home for a little while, just watching friends talk about something I have a shared interest in. It's really great what you're doing and it seems your Patreon is doing extremely well, so congrats! BTW it's very hard to pick, but for now I think my favorite is Daylight.

In the interview with Zane Lowe Harry mentions taking his stepfather Robin’s old car on a road trip to Europe with a friend during the pandemic when some restrictions were lifted. The lyrical itemized listing of things feel like internal and external moments experienced over that road trip time. It feels quite literal and metaphorical all the while being the cutest happy and sad at the same time BOP! Loving this reaction, ladies! I just love the whole vibe of this album, it's so nice and funky and light and sometimes deep at the same time. I don’t think it completely is but it sounds like there is a chance it could be inspired by that era of their lives. What an offensively fair thing to have perspective from both sides!!!!

I think that several tracks on the album sound a bit like The Strokes' songs, especially Grapejuice: when Harry says "one, two, three" it sounds very similar to the beginning of One Way Trigger by Strokes. Also - as you said in the video - Harry's voice is more distant, almost like it's layered with a fragmented radio sound. The Strokes use this very often in their songs, most similarly to Grapejuice is Call it Fate, Call it Karma and 80's Comedown Machine and Is This It. I really like Harry's new album and can't wait to see him in Copenhagen this summer xx

Matilda is a heart-wrenching song, even though I can't relate to it myself, I know so many people do, including you Bonny. Also I recommend you to listen to this album in reverse (HSHQ tweet: "a familiar soundtrack played in reverse"), starting with Love Of My Life and finishing with Music For a Sushi Restaurant. Perspective shifts and it's nice a new way to look at this album and at the story as a whole. 💕😻

Oh, As It Was was the right choice for first single IMO. I feel bad for it. I wish we didn't have to have lead singles or whatever. A lot of Taylor's singles feel underrated by the fanbase just cause they got played a million times seven years ago.

Picking favs from this album is so hard because there are just SOOO many good songs. But i would say it’s Little freak, Matilda and Satellite for me!🪐 And I think the fans have kind of gathered the information from the interviews he did, that all of the songs were actually written before Harry knew Olivia. So they’re probably about relationships from his past or as he said, ones he’s seen from the people around him.✨

And of course I cried in Matilda. More like sat still with shivers all over my body and unknowingly silently shed some tears.
