Wolf
After the ridiculous balloon mini boss battle, I quickly find the next floor to be just as ridiculous and infuriating as the first floor of the theme. Except that instead of fake exits there are straight up hidden exits. To the point that I can’t find any exits at all, fake or otherwise.
No matter how many monsters I slaughter, whether they seem like mini bosses or not, no exits appear.
Not a single one.
For entire days of just going around hunting.
Then there are the monsters themselves, which are literally inanimate objects going around with mouths and claws located on random parts of their bodies.
I honestly never thought there would come a day when I’d be fighting a giant table with a mouth full of razor sharp teeth and claws on each table leg.
It’s a little disturbing.
And, of course, Loki is laughing his head off in the viewing room. But I try my best to ignore any mentions of that in the chat and on the System Forums as I search for that damned exit.
All while trying to clear out the illusions with my Domain.
Since there are still a lot of illusions layered on top of each other all across the floor. It’s just that most of them aren’t hiding monsters. They’re hiding other things like floating objects and the like.
Which means there’s a good chance one of the illusions could be hiding the exit.
So I continue flying around slaughtering monsters in the forms of what are usually inanimate objects but are instead moving around with mouths, fangs, and claws.
One day after another passes before I finally find something new after two entire weeks grinding away for levels and devoured energy on the floor. With that ‘something new’ being in the form of a giant house with a mouth, eyes, and claws.
Right, this has to be the mini boss.
There’s no question about it.
So I quickly begin to freeze the house with my Domain before slowly devouring it. Following which a large exit finally appears.
I let out a sigh of relief, only to freeze up a little when I realize there’s no mini boss chest.
Wait a second… please don’t tell me…
I grit my teeth before passing through the ‘exit’ and finding myself reappearing in some chamber like that of the first floor mini boss’s chamber.
With a tiny little fluffball at the center of the room.
I stare at the ball of pink fluff with two adorable little pink eyes as it tilts its full-body head in an adorable manner…
And opens its mouth full of razor sharp teeth that’s the size of its entire body.
Well there goes the cute part.
Then the pink fluffball begins to suck in the air all around it in what seems to be an attempt to draw me into its mouth.
I ignore it to check the thing’s Beta Dictionary entry, even though I know I probably shouldn’t for my own sanity.
Eldritch Fluff
Fluffy McFlufferson
A pink fluffball. With a mouth.
It is a powerful fluff.
Yes.
Powerful indeed.
Fear the fluff.
Any who touch the fluff will be cursed to be overwhelmed by happiness for at least the duration you’re touching the incredible fluff.
But be warned, for this fluff has an appetite.
Fluffy McFlufferson is the greatest fluff to have ever fluffed in its fluffy life as a cat.
Remember that.
Even though it’s not a cat.
But it’s still the fluffiest cat ever
Despite not being a cat.
So don’t forget.
The fluff is all powerful.
Level – 16421
I feel a headache forming just reading this.
Some small part of me begins to wonder if Loki is really just an eternal child or something.
Well, whatever.
I pour some of my Domain straight into the thing’s mouth, freezing it solid before cutting it apart with blades of ice all around the creature. Killing the ball of fluff in seconds to make an entrance appear.
But right as I begin to make my way towards the mini boss chest that appears, the corpse suddenly grows bigger before exploding, sending me flying to smash against the wall of the chamber with a grunt of pain and several broken bones.
Seriously?
I sigh again as I heal my wounds before continuing towards the mini boss just. At which point I surprisingly get an item extremely similar to the last one in terms of its effects.

Tier 9 Fluffy Fluff:
Fluffy McFlufferson is the greatest fluff to have ever fluffed in its fluffy life as a cat.
But since you have already read the beta dictionary result, and seen the last item’s description, the fluff’s description will be cut short. Because it’s too fluffy to be stated so many times.
Be thankful for the fluff’s magnanimous nature.
Remember this, for this fluff candy can be eaten at any time.
And the one eating it will have twenty-five percent of their energy restored in an instant. Regardless of how many potions they’ve used.

So it’s like a carbon copy of the balloon I got on the last floor. Except in fluffy candy form instead of a balloon.
And it’s just as ridiculous in terms of its description.
Although these items are very useful. On top of that, if I keep getting one for every floor, I’ll have a very large supply of energy for when I finally face off against Loki’s clone.
Which is probably why he keeps giving me them in the first place.
After all, Loki has been trying to help me amidst his playing around from what I’ve seen.
Even his leading me all over the place as I kill monsters is technically making me grow stronger.
I store the item in my storage ring before looking towards the exit with a slightly anxious expression on my face. Just worried about what the hell I’m going to find on the next floor considering what I’ve found on the first two floors.
His help doesn’t exactly alleviate the worry I feel though.
Without another thought on the matter, I walk through the exit to the next floor.
Just hoping whatever is beyond is something at least on the scale of normal.
