The heck?

I find myself blankly staring at the sight in front of and all around me. That being some sort of quiz-show setup. Like what you’d see on a TV.

What’s even stranger is that there aren’t any announcers or hosts or anything like that.

All I see are four little pedestals, each with a monster standing behind them except for one. And each with a button on top.

Seriously. What the heck is going on?

Beta Administrator Dungeon Notification

Welcome to the great Administrator Dungeon Quiz Show!

Give a round of applause for all the wonderful contestants before you!

And of course, for yourself as well!

During this Quiz Show, all four contestants will answer five questions related to the Administrator Dungeon. And every time you answer incorrectly, or aren’t the first to answer, you will have to face off against a powerful monster!

Or you may just end up in a monster house filled with dozens of other monsters!

So be careful and answer calmly and quickly!

Okay then…

I stare blankly at the notification. Then I turn my gaze towards the livestream chat that’s open on the side of my interface.

[A game show! Yesss!!!]

[I love these types of floors!]

[Wonder how much Wolf knows about the Dungeon?]

[Probably not as much as you’d think. He does go around punching everything.]

[Well he can’t just punch through this one, so I wonder if he’ll ask us for help?]

[Or he could go on the forums and look things up.]

[I just want to see him struggle at something! It’s been a while since I saw that!]

[Since his battle with Beelzebub’s clone, probs]

I find my eyebrow twitching in irritation at the sight of the messages currently filling the livestream chat. Then I turn back to face the notification as it updates in front of me. Telling me that the game show will start when I step up to the pedestal.

Do these idiots really think I’m that stupid? Is it just because I’ve been smashing my way through everything recently to make things go faster and to focus on my Domain?

That’s irritating.

And for some reason it’s even more irritating that some people are saying that I can’t just ‘punch my way through this one’.

The notification never set any specific rules, so why can’t I just do that?

With that thought, the corner of my lips quirk ever so slightly upwards, and I begin to walk towards the pedestals.

But instead of stepping up to my own pedestal, I walk over to the first one before stopping right in front of the monster and smiling with my hands in my pockets. Meanwhile the monster just stares back at me rather blankly.

That monster being some sort of bipedal alien creature.

And without a hint of hesitation, I move faster than these monsters can even see to tear out all three of their throats, making them collapse down onto their pedestals while bleeding out. Then I casually walk up to my own pedestal, still with a smile on my face.

That’ll do.

After all, if the other contestants are dead, who could possibly press their buzzer faster than me?

I glance at the chat.

[He didn’t… did he just do that?!]

[Can he do that?!]

[He did that…]

[Well, it never said anything about him not being able to kill the other contestants…]

[LOOOOOOOL]

[LMAOOOO]

[That’s one way to deal with a quiz show.]

[Appears on a quiz show and decides to just kill the other contestants to win]

[This is comedy gold]

A feeling of satisfaction spreads through me at the sight of those messages. And for the first time in a while, I feel in a pretty good mood while just doing my usual thing.

Honestly, this whole livestream chat thing may not actually be a bad thing after all.

When it first appeared I was rather irritated by the fact that the System bothered with it. But now? Now it’s actually a good source of entertainment in this boring dungeon.

It also gives me people to interact with in a way. Seeing as I’m not exactly in a position to interact with others much while in this dungeon.

Anyways, I look up as a question appears floating in the air.

What was the species name of the first boss monster of the Administrator Dungeon?

Without hesitation, I press the buzzer and answer, “Revenant.”

And just seconds later, a dinging sound echoes through the room, along with the words correct flashing in front of my face. With a green spotlight flashing on my pedestal.

Guess the dungeon really doesn’t care that the other contestants are, well, dead.

That’s good.

The next question appears shortly after, and this one has me pausing for a moment to think.

Who was the first Competitor The Winter Wolf ran into within the Administrator Dungeon?

Who was it… I think it was Crystal. Probably.

Wait, no. It was Ariana. That person with Siren in their title.

And after I answer that, I find my answer to be, once again, correct.

Good.

Although I wasn’t expecting to find a question tailored to my own personal run of the dungeon. If anything I was expecting it to be focused on the dungeon itself, not any particular person.

So that’s unexpected.

Anyway, the next three questions are similar in scale. And I answer every last one of them correctly. Even if I don’t answer them quickly.

Then a thought comes to mind, and I glance at the dead monsters near me.

Could those monsters actually speak? That’s the only way they’d be able to answer a question after all. But normally regular monsters can’t speak.

That’s certainly a question to ponder.

Not that it really matters much in the end.

I find an exit to the next floor appearing, proving that the quiz show really was just five questions. Only for me to appear on another quiz show with three monsters once again on the pedestals. And a notification saying that there would be ten questions this time.

This is gonna take a while, isn’t it?
