Within the Special Dimension
Fenrir silently watches as his pup, also known as The Winter Wolf, fights against Beelzebub’s clone. Meanwhile the real Beelzebub sits on a throne next to him watching with a faint grin on his face. One that surprises both Fenrir and the rest of the progenitors in the dimension.
After all, they’re all used to Beelzebub not showing any of his emotions to others. So seeing him grin or express much of anything is unusual to say the least.
But what’s just as unusual is the sheer number of progenitors in the dimension. With the total count numbering several dozen. Each of whom are there to watch the two battles going on right now.
The first being the battle between the new Progenitor of Lunar Ice and the Blue Moon and the clone of the Progenitor of Insects and Curses. And the second being the current major battle going on within the War of the Progenitors.
The battle between Titania’s side and Grim’s side currently taking place in a dead part of Grim’s universe.
Where the Progenitors of Light, Radiance, Order, Illusion, Celestial, Spirit, and the clone of Beelzebub are all fighting the Progenitors of Void, Dark, Chaos, Miasma, Infernal, Ash, and a clone of the Primordial of Blood.
And while Fenrir watches, he can’t help but feel a little dumbfounded by it all. Because when he first started his plan to make a new progenitor, he never imagined it would branch out into a full-on war between dozens of progenitors. Completely tearing apart the order of the universe in the process.
Nor did he ever expect that the progenitor he had born would end up facing off against another progenitor this soon, even if that progenitor is an ally and a clone.
The location of the battlefield between the progenitors has already been sealed off by three progenitors working together so that the devastation from the battlefield doesn’t affect any of the mortals. But even then, some of the damage reached the mortals before Fenrir, Chronos, and Aether could seal it off.
None of the progenitors can easily break through a seal made by Fenrir’s eternal ice even with several of them working at once, much less a seal made from his eternal ice mixed with Chronos’s time sealing powers and Aether’s space sealing powers.
So ever since the seal was placed, no progenitor could leave or enter the battlefield without their permission.
But every now and then Fenrir gets a request for a new progenitor to join the battlefield. And at this point Fenrir can tell that some of the progenitors are joining the battle more for fun than any actual grudge.
Simply because it’s the most interesting thing happening in the last several million years.
Fenrir can’t even blame them for that, despite the fact that they’re playing around with the grudge formed by multiple parties as if it’s a fun game to join.
On that thought, Fenrir turns to look around at the dozens of progenitors all around the dimension, where he finds most of them messing with the System created by Grim. A System that abandoned its own creator to go rogue during the war.
And most of them are using it to watch either the war or the battle between Wolf and Beelzebub’s clone.
As if their interest in the war wasn’t enough…
Fenrir almost grits his teeth as he watches them. Because their initial anger with the System has quickly taken a turn at the sight of Wolf fighting evenly against a clone of Beelzebub.
Now Fenrir’s even heard some of them talking about how they’d like to see how Wolf fares against their own clones, or other progenitor clones.
Some even mentioned that they’re going to give the System permission to make a weaker clone of them to face off against Wolf in the dungeon. And now the Beta Dungeon is turning into a spectacle for some of the progenitors as well, not just the mortals of Grim’s universe.
Part of this infuriates Fenrir as he watches the progenitors and the two battles, but part of it he understands may be of benefit to Wolf. Since it means they’re starting to respect him in a way, and some of them even seem to be planning on guiding him before their battles. Like what Beelzebub has been doing.
If Fenrir’s pup can survive all of the battles and make it out of the Beta Dungeon alive, he will be able to stand tall amongst all the progenitors.
But if he can’t make it out…
Fenrir narrows his eyes on the screens again.
No progenitor would ever just let themselves die even if they’re just a clone. So even if a lot of the progenitors would try to teach Wolf how to do things, they will still try to kill him.
And he may not be able to take on dozens of progenitor clones, even if they are all spread out across different floors.
Fenrir looks around at the progenitors in the dimension to find the most interested ones in taking on his pup. Just so that he can figure out which ones Wolf may end up fighting in the dungeon.
Looks like the Progenitors of Sound, Electricity, Gravity, Earth, and Wind all look like they will absolutely fight him at some point… several others may do so as well. But the only ones that look like they want to enter the Beta Dungeon just to kill him is the Progenitor of Fire. Which is to be expected.
The Progenitor of Ice and Wolves sighs before deciding to inform Wolf about countermeasures against those progenitors.
But for now he just focuses on the screen showing Wolf as he continues trading blows with Beelzebub’s clone. Where he finds some of the administrators and moderators of the System joining in on the fight and immediately making their way to Wolf’s side to be turned into lunar winter beasts.
That should help him at least. But will it be enough?
Comments
OMG so it sounds like the remaining seven centurion bosses are all going to be Progenitor clones. Maybe even event bosses if more than seven decide to play.
