Wolf

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

You are now under the effect of the Blue Moon Armaments.

This effect is not of the Void System and therefore any armor-type equipment of The Reaper’s System is now unequipped, and you are completely locked out of any System related activities including accessing your status until this effect ends.

While under this effect, all of your physical and magical capabilities are quadrupled, your weaknesses are temporarily removed, and your immunity to the void element is enhanced to 95%.

Lastly, during this effect, the user grows stronger the longer they are underneath the light of the Blue Moon.

This effect shall last for as long as the user’s domain can sustain it.

-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

I find myself more than a little surprised both at the changes to the Blue Moon Armaments and at the sight of a massive number of people beginning to appear in large batches all around the enormous platform. With all of them looking a little too excited for some reason.

But before I can even wonder what’s happening, I notice one of the new arrivals in particular.

Mikaela.

The host and MC of the Void Stream, and before that the Arcadian Live viewing room. Not to mention the most popular MC in all of the viewing rooms and the one who focuses on me the most.

The viewers are being brought into the dungeon… but doesn’t that mean they could attack me?

I don’t particularly like that idea.

To my surprise, a notification suddenly appears in my vision. One mentioning how apparently all of the viewers who are being brought in will revive if they’re killed in the dungeon.

So I go ahead and spread my domain out to match Beelzebub, who is currently doing the same.

But I’m faced with another surprise when my domain reaches the viewers, and I get this instinctive feeling that I can turn them into lunar winter beasts to fight on my side. And I only hold back for a single moment. Mostly because I’d feel bad turning them against their will.

Not bad enough to lose this fight though, which the sight of Beelzebub going ahead and turning the viewers into bugs makes me genuinely worried about.

So I quickly begin following that instinct and turning the viewers that happened to enter the place by the millions.

Although just because of everything Mikaela has done for me, I make sure to spend a bit more time turning him so that he’s at least of purer blood than the rest. Not that I think it’ll matter much in the end.

After all, they’re most likely all going to die in this dungeon before reviving outside. And I doubt they’ll stay as lunar winter beasts and bugs outside of the dungeon.

They probably wouldn’t have entered if they know something like that could happen.

Unless the System tricked them, which I doubt.

And I’m just going to hope it didn’t do that. Because if it did then the universe is about to have a lot more lunar winter beasts on its hands.

To my surprise though, not long after I reach the halfway point in turning the viewers on my side of the battlefield, more viewers begin to flood into the dungeon. First it’s just by the thousands, but it quickly turns into the hundreds of thousands and then the millions.

Even billions after a while.

And what’s more is that they’re all rushing to my side of the battlefield if they happen to spawn on Beelzebub’s side. With the exception of those who get caught in his domain.

In the end I’m left with at least a trillion lunar winter beasts forming one massive army, all facing off against Beelzebub’s what must be three quarters of a trillion or so. A good deal less than my own army.

Probably both because it seems to take longer for his domain to turn creatures than mine, along with the fact that the viewers were running towards me. Practically begging me to turn them for some reason.

For the former, I’m guessing it most likely takes Beelzebub’s element longer to turn people because he’s completely changing everything about their bodies to turn them into bugs. Whereas my venom, and I guess element since my domain can do it too, still keeps them as animals at the very least. It just gives them a new element and turns them wolf-like and gives them the power to shapeshift.

Which, on another note, makes this battlefield look incredibly grand to me.

One side is covered in large wolves, with the majority of my lunar winter beasts having transformed into their wolf forms already. Meanwhile the other side is covered in bugs for days.

All while I float above my side and Beelzebub floats above his.

Beelzebub looks at my forces before raising his head and giving me what looks like an approving nod. Then he waves his arm and declares, “Charge.”

At the same time, his domain begins to sweep out in my direction as if trying to attack me. Even if it is stretched incredibly thin right now.

So I follow up with the same, ordering my lunar winter beasts to charge as well before sending my own domain out to clash with Beelzebub’s.

And the moment everything clashes, a massive shockwave is sent outwards. As billions upon billions of bugs and lunar winter beasts all attack each other at once. And as my domain and Beelzebub’s clashes in the middle of it all. With my domain freezing everything in the air while his spreads as a thick white mist that tries to weaken everything.

Despite the fact that I can tell Beelzebub’s domain is stronger than mine, and despite the war raging on beneath us, I feel a thrill enter me. One burning with the desire to hunt.

And for some reason I can tell that my desire is being shared with every last lunar winter beast down below. Almost like they’re being affected by my mental state somehow as they enter a frenzy attacking the bugs.

But I just grin at the Progenitor of Curses and Insects as my Sword of the Blue Moon turns into clawed gauntlets over my own claws.

Now that I don’t have a cooldown on the sword or my armaments, it’s time to fight.

No.

It’s time to hunt.

The biggest game I have ever hunted in my life.

When Wolf leaves the dungeon his main enemies and allies will be other progenitors and other universes.
