Oh we got some DEEP lore this time!! I love it- but also it's incredibly sad... I can't wait for them to eventually reunite. I'm also curious about what exactly Shirou did to spark that conflict. I could be wrong, but I'm vaguely anticipating some future direct combat between Aria and the other horsemen.

Memhotep

Aw come on how did she not connect the dots?

Micah Sandlin

Thanks for the chapter!

BlackRazaras

Except pestilence would then know she’s part of crimson empire royalty. And that would be badTM. (And he wouldn’t do it for that reason, so would just end up a worse situation than before)

Briar Rosier

At least we have an answer for Aria’s situation with her family. I’m curious as to what the curse aria has will do if it activates? Since Aria would recover from whatever affects it has and probably purge it if it activated its mostly her family would be more affected by it.

Aeonstorm

The emperor in this chapter explained why her ability isn't clearing it up faster. Reread the chapter to find out. And yes, her family knows about her ability because of analyzers.

WolfShine

How much of her ability did her family know at her birth? Did they know she was immortal ? If they knew the curse must have some pretty powerful consequences for her ability not to work against it (or she'll need more level against it, like the poison from pestilence)

Lijwent

I'm not so sure that the other riders don't know anything. I re-read the epilogue of book 2 and the way famine talks about aria makes me think that he at least suspects something if not outright knows.

Patrizia

Poor Aria. And Lucky Aria, cause she doesn’t know. The Horseman doesn’t seem to know either. War is War, more Reason to fight. Pestilence would just keep her as guina pig. Infamy would just starve her for eternity. On the other Side, when she gets strong enough, she could stop the progress for the other 3 permanently too. Just a question of ethics and endurance. And thanks for the chapter

Michael Zinkstein

Ok I know an even simpler way to get rid of the curse. Ask pestilence to help again, but this time twist the curse so it harms her. With it actively harming her, at worst, she goes through years of torture, then it is gone. Better than waiting millenia.

Tyler Machado

Tftc btw!

Captain2003Rex

On a completely and definitely unrelated note, I can’t help but once again think that the Mage Queen (I forgot her name) really was more than a little too hasty to immediately vow her eternal animosity and antagonism towards Aria before she actually had the facts available about the new Horseman lol. After all, who should be better suited to (eventually) finally reap the souls of the Riders, if not for the very incarnation of Death herself? Hmm?

Captain2003Rex

I didn't expect this. Nice surprise. Mhm. Who even knows that aria is the princess of the crimson empire ? Probably only her family and Leopold. The others are maybe only guessing the connection.

Endoles

The reason she's immortal is her ability.

WolfShine

Wonder if the curse is the reason she's immortal

Marvin bennett

Thanks for the Chapter

Wintermelody

This reason does make the separation more palatable, but it still leaves a lot of unanswered questions. Plus a lot of the things said in my comment on the last chapter are still viable

Draxas

That's what I was thinking but then again that friend visited the emperor so whos to say he was told to tell that story to aria and it's not even real. Im not even sure the curse is real at all as aria didn't have that true immortality until the system initiated on her planet so something from pestilence could've killed her.

GetZ3rged

She is probably assuming it is ancient history, not recent.

Scott McCarthy

The question is: Is it the curse that makes Aria this dense? Or just a family trait?

Wargen

Huh, well that certainly answers a couple questions, but now I’m curious as to how that curse even works? Like, what happens after the ten minutes they’re allowed to see her for? Do they just get teleported away or something?
