Several hours later
Arlevan steps out of his office before heading straight towards the temple, passing by the many Blue Moon Acolytes along the way, each of them bowing to him, their wings folding behind them in the process as they synchronize, “Your Eminence.”
It’s been months now since the great Reaper of the Blood Moon, the Progenitor Lycanthrope himself blessed him with his original Blue Moon Acolyte mutation class, and only a week since it was upgraded to the Blue Moon High Priest class. And ever since then, Arlevan has been the focal point for all branches of the Cult of the Blue Moon across the entire universe.
His goal now though is not simply expanding the cult for the glory of the Blue Moon’s Reaper. It is simply to strengthen the cult. To empower it so that it may aid His Holiness when he finally clears this Holy Trial set forth for him by the great and powerful Reaper.
For His Holiness has granted them power. Power to break their chains. To leave behind the ground and soar towards the future. And to gain the strength of the Blue Moon.
Arlevan enters the temple, simply nodding towards the many acolytes currently inside praying to the glorious statue of His Holiness in his Blue Moon Armaments, with various other statues located around the hall depicting him in his other forms, such as his ferocious hunter form, or his majestic wolf form.
For a Blue Moon Acolyte, many dream of getting His Holiness’s lycanthropy. But only the ones who have managed to advance their class high enough to push their mutation forward after level one hundred may truly have a chance at obtaining it.
Arlevan himself has managed to gain the unbelievable honor of lycanthropy. And he has even shared words with His Holiness himself! Through a proxy, of course.
The High Priest stops in front of the statue before giving his midnight prayer and a bow. Then he looks up and spreads his large white angelic wings to his side and begins flying up through the skylight of the temple and into the night air. He then stops high above the temple, all of the Blue Moon Acolytes around the area pausing what they were doing to look up at him before their eyes all flash a sinister blue.
“The hunt shall begin soon!” Arlevan shouts, his voice echoing throughout the camp, ringing in the ears of each and every arctic lycanthrope and half-arctic lycanthrope around. “Ready yourselves, for we shall bring the light of His Holiness to the fae soldiers!” Arlevan transforms into his hunter form, a large werewolf with white fur and glowing blue eyes as he raises his arm and growls out, “For the glory of the Primordial Lycanthrope!!!”
Each and every acolyte down below begins to howl, regardless of if they have a wolf or hunter form or not.
His Holiness’s will be done.
Arlevan flaps his wings once, sending him straight towards the front lines, an army of tens of thousands of arctic lycanthropes and half-arctic lycanthropes soaring into the air behind him.

Several Miles Away
Luke Asger – father to the Primordial Lycanthrope – nods his head with a smile as he watches the army of cultists charge at the literal ocean of fae soldiers.
“You didn’t…” the leader of Safe Zone 52, Manfred Lowth, mutters while watching the chaos unfold. He turns to the man to see his smile. “You did. You really convinced them that this was your son’s will.”
“Maybe,” Luke says, half admitting it.
I have to admit, when they first showed up, I wasn’t sure what to expect or what problems they’d cause. But these cultists are quite powerful.
Luke’s thoughts pause as he hears their High Priest shouting “For The Primordial Lycanthrope!!!!”
Even if they are a little too fanatical. It’s kind of creepy.
“Aren’t you afraid they’ll try to retaliate if they eventually meet your son and find out that you lied to them?” Manfred asks, sounding genuinely worried.
Luke just waves his worries aside as he says, “It’ll be fine. These cultists seem to absolutely worship Wolf. And besides,” he pauses as he glances at the man next to him, “do you really think Wolf would care about them?”
Manfred blinks at that before sighing and looking at the battle again while muttering, “No, he probably won’t.”
Luke nods his head at that and glances back at the camp behind him.
Well, he will probably dislike the whole idea of having a cult in the first place. But he’s already a crown prince, so it’s not like having a cult of nearly a hundred thousand worshiping him is all that much different than being royalty over trillions of people.
His eyes narrow.
Besides. If push came to shove, by the time he’s out of the dungeon, he’ll just be able to turn these cultists into statues of ice anyways.
With that thought in mind, Luke opens his System menu and navigates to the livestream currently showing his son and granddaughter as they move through some sort of strange dimension where gravity seems to be messed up entirely.
Still feels weird to know that I have a granddaughter. I never expected Wolf to have a child, even if he didn’t necessarily have her in the conventional manner. Always expected Katy to be the one to eventually cross that.
Luke watches as the two kill various different odd looking eldritch creatures with their bare hands and claws, completely avoiding the use of magic in the process. Likely because of what he’d seen earlier when Wolf’s ice had been eaten by the first monster he ran into on the floor.
Several minutes pass with him not taking his eyes off of the screen before he eventually finishes reassuring himself that his son and granddaughter are safe and closes the livestream again. Or at least, as safe as they can be in the dungeon.
Then he turns his attention back to the chaos again, briefly taking note of the cultists’ attire.
I wonder what Wolf will say when he hears that his regular attire has been written into the religious doctrine of their cult?
