2025-02-17 08:46:02 +0000 UTCi haven't rewatched OUAT in a hot minute and forgot about cruellas storyline so right now rewatching it I was like oh damn why is she the only one who was just straight-up born evil. Considering the show's whole theme is "evil isn't born it's made". i was watching and thinking about the many versions of her that we know. in the OG versions that we've seen, she skins puppies because she wants a coat (let me know if I'm wrong on that front). Which is kinda different from other Disney villains we grew up watching. Most wanted power and or control, she was the only one (that I can think of ) who was like eh I want puppy fur for a coat. I think that is one of the main reasons why they made her just straight-up evil on the show, and not "i wasn't born evil" thing they usually go for. (also it's midnight my time so I'm sorry if my grammar or the whole thought process I'm typing does not make sense lmao)

2025-02-12 14:19:40 +0000 UTCThe green smoke magic thing she does was used to mimic the cartoon movie where she she smokes her cigarettes but back then Disney had to limit the use of smoking(kids network) so they used the green smoke in the original film. Here in OUAT they gave her magic and used the the green smoke as that which I think is cool. I hope that makes sense 😭

He only remembers Henry is his grandson and the only part of Neal he has left, when it suits him
