Dorothy Hamill (from Ross’s list) is a retired American figure skater from the late 70s. Crazy thing is, she had a unique hairstyle that became iconic and copied by thousands of women at the time. Fast forward 20 years and the "Rachel" hairstyle became even more iconic. Finally, when Chandler says that Elizabeth Hurley is 'very forgiving', it is a reference to when her then boyfriend Hugh Grant was arrested for having a public indiscretion with a prostitute in 1995.
