They always talk about how attractive he is, which is true, but he's going upside-down doing either a cartwheel or a one-handed cartwheel, then he also swings off of people's legs and dances at times where he's singing. I get what you were talking about with Johnny not being at the same level as Cynthia and Ariana, but as you also said he's still amazing. If you think of it like this, Fiyero only sings one song in part one so he has to make it count. So he builds at the beginning and then he's doing all the extra stuff as well in the scene. He needs to grab the audience with only one song.
