I love watching Heather dance. It’s like it bubbles out of her and she can’t help but dance. She stands out in all the dancing scenes. It looks like it’s so easy for her, not a routine. She’s amazing!!

2024-11-29 12:35:25 +0000 UTCI know that the s6 mashup is the most popular Brittana duet, but MATM is my favorite! It’s such a good song and the dancing and chemistry in the scene is great! And honestly, Santana ate Madonna up! She’s a great performer but not the most notably singer so it’s no surprise that Santana really shined. And Toxic is definitely a moment where I can’t defend Will. And the worst part if that the cover itself is great! With Hit me baby, it’s a fun recreation of the music video and there’s some parts of the chorus that Lea does sound really good on, but I just don’t think that it’s the best way to showcase her voice. It just doesn’t feel like Rachel. So I’m inclined to agree with the critics on this one. I do agree that Kurt’s whole subplot of being so angry was a bit random. While I like how we got to see a different side of him, it came out of nowhere and we didn’t even see the principal office scene. Also one thing I forgot to mention before, but Santana saying “you go bluetoo” is an inside joke between Kevin and Naya.

Also the more I rewatch glee the more certain scenes w Mr schue are just so much creepier/cringe lol idk why 😂😂, honestly justice for Kurt he just wanted some Britney 😭!! PS those girls abs were definitely real you can see it in the various shots! I love this ep💗💗

I just think we gotta keep them more straight to the point and less summary and keep the more fun facts in the comments (because some things are not bts that u can find in the ep more of just smth that happened) but it doesn’t really spoil cause she has watched the eps before; but ik what you mean wanting her to experience it all over again.

2024-11-29 01:18:42 +0000 UTCIt's hard for me to forget how selfish Rachel was a lot of the time because, granted, I've watched the entire series (especially the first 3 seasons) many times, but she also gets a lot of hate from the fandom, which, a lot of it is deserved yes, but I can't with the double standards. A large portion of the fandom has conveniently "forgotten" or belittle what a massive bully Santana was (and biphobic); even Brittany being a bully; Kurt being a selfish jerk who doesn't respect boundaries (and biphobic); Quinn being a bully, lying about the baby, sabotaging Shelby and being shallow af; Artie being sexist (ending a sentence with "woman" when talking to a woman makes my blood boil) and treating Tina like crap, but people only remember his and Sam's comments when Ryder admitted to being molested by his babysitter and him becoming a "slut" in S5 etc. Puck was a bully and creepy af but people call him out on it, and even Finn for his wrongdoings. That being said, this episode is just superior in every way. Heather absolutely killed it. Naya too and they both looked so hot🔥 And like I said, I like Lea's version of Baby One More Time. I know ballads and Broadway are her specialty but some people say she's bad at doing pop songs and I disagree. I also like her version of Oops I Did It Again in S4. Vocally, Toxic was awesome but so uncomfortable to watch with Will performing with the kids (though nothing compared to Blurred Lines and Matthew did look awfully sexy 😍😂). Stronger was always one of my favourite Britney songs and even though it was a hit, it's not on the level of BOMT or Toxic so I was pleasantly surprised they included that. It also fits Kevin's voice perfectly. It's really sad looking back, knowing what we know now about Britney. I don't know what Kurt was smoking in this episode (granted, his criticsm of Will never listening to them and doing what they want is valid, but still...) but he's right, Britney IS pop culture. Her VMA performance with the snake alone is iconic, and all her music videos as you pointed out. I was 6 when BOMT came out. I literally grew up with her and I was OBSESSED. Btw, I would LOVE for you to react to her movie Crossroads, especially if you haven't seen it. It's super cheesy but IMO Britney's acting is so good (and she sings too of course). Btw, what I meant by Karofsky and Santana start dating as each other's beards later on, the term "beards" is used when people date someone of the opposite sex to hide their sexuality. They are both officially in the closet and agree to be each other's "beards" (though Karofsky only agrees because Santana threatens to out him). And sorry, I got a bit carried away with the fun facts/bts lore 😂 I did forget to mention that Naya called the set where they shot Me Against the Music "the sweat lodge" because it was so hot. And I mean... they were both there so it makes sense!
