Maybe he was obssesive about phoebe and evolution.. i mean i know that what phoebe said was wrong he studied evolution etc… But he tried so many times to tell her the true. I know it’s not really a obssesive behaviour, but it was the first thing that came to my mind..

2024-09-21 23:17:16 +0000 UTCYeah I feel like Rachel would’ve reacted better if Ross had sat down with her and talked to her about it in a more mature way. I feel like typing out a literal pros and cons list especially when she wasn’t even there was what added to the hurt. Also, I’m not going to blame Joey and Chandler since Ross could’ve easily said no. Also the hypocrisy in that he couldn’t take it like an adult when he said he could.

I still stand by my opinion and it just strengthened in this episode when Ross clearly has a problem when it's done to to him (even though it wasn't something she said behind his back to her friends and only because he asked her to). Though I can't think of any specific time he has been obsessive so far, apart from maybe obsessing over Rachel or Carol. In regards to Phoebe's dad, I also think I would want to know but I understand why she's hesitant. She wants to hold on to the image she has of him. And you noticed Gunther had his first line in this episode! Fun fact: He was supposed to be a silent guest cast member, but since James Michael Tyler (RIP) was the only actor who knew how to work a cappuccino machine, he became a recurring character with lines. He was actually a barista in real life and when he started to appear in more episodes of Friends, he quit to work full time on the show. Goof/continuity error: In 1x19 when looking for Marcel, Joey says he's unable to fix some girls' radiator (though he could have learned it in the meantime). Also, it is unlikely that Treeger wouldn't have known to turn the radiator off from the bottom, as he is the head of maintenance in the building.
