Arrived in the Dominican Republic

I arrived in the Dominican Republic. As I mentioned before, I haven't been here in 10 years. But boy oh boy I am super happy to be here. I love being around my family, I love the weather, the smells, the sounds. So many nostalgic things from when I was younger came back to me.
Kevin was kind enough to bring my parents and me to the airport of Brussels where we caught our plain and flew over to Las Americas Airport in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. The smell at the airport instantly reminded me of the smells of the buildings and tiles. hahaha.
After a pretty exhausting 24 hours awake, lots of hugging with family members and eating delicious local food I hopped into my bed. A little bit frightened by mosquitoes, but the electric fan luckily helps with keeping them away from me while I sleep.
My video will be uploaded within the next 2-3 hours. The internet is slow over here! I hope to have a stable internet connection available soon so I can continue uploading on Tuesdays and Fridays like usual.
