HTS Update + New book

Hi guys,

So we have a bit of bad and a bit of good news.

TLDR:

- For the next two weeks, How to Survive is going on hiatus.
- We’re launching a new book called Demon World Boba Shop.
- We'll be adding chapters of DWBS to Patreon starting Wednesday.

So a couple of months ago, Dotblue and I managed to get a rare chance to meet in person over iced beverages and he asked me what I was writing next, I took a look around the shop, slurped up a bit more milk tea, and said, “Something calming. Like maybe a boba shop in a demon world, or something like that.”

Since last July, I’ve written something like six or seven novels worth of words. It’s been great, but that’s also an amount of words that could burn out multiple writers if things didn’t line up just right for them. And over time, I began to want to write something nice. Something slow and make you feel good, and maybe something that doesn’t involve nine different ways of stabbing someone else in the chest.

Demon World Boba Shop is that nice book.

So for the next two weeks, we’re shifting gears and focusing our efforts on DWBS. We’ll be back for HTS but for now, we’d love to see you slurping boba with us in the demon world and taking a break from saving the world.

We'll be adding chapters to the Patreon as soon as the first two days' worth of posting are over, with a planned backlog of around 10 chapters.
