I would like to do some veil tutorials, including one in December. Would you be interested in learning veil? If so I thought I would post this in case anyone needs to get a veil in preparation.
I typically use and prefer 5mm ultra light silk. I also sometimes use 6mm silk.
You can put one on your Christmas list for Santa, or treat yourself:)
Here are some links to where you can purchase veils. These are not affiliate links. I get no kick backs or anything just want to let you know where you can get a veil in case you have no clue.
I have purchased from Fairy Cove Silks, Dahlal, and Belly Dance Store multiple times.
Fairy Cove Silks Instock

Fairy Cove Silks Custom orders (custom order veils can take much longer to ship than in stock veils)

Dahlal silk veils

Belly Dance Store

You can also search "Silk Veil" at www.bellydance.com
You can search 3 yard silk bellydance veil on Etsy as well. Lots of silk artist vendors on there with beautiful dye patterns.
If you live near a fabric store or have a bolt of silk at home you can always make one yourself (sew a seam on your edges). A standard veil is 3 yards long by approximately 43 inches wide.
Bye for now,
Cassandra
